does it accommodate a second hard drive/ssd?

David W, you're totally right!  I didn't notice it was there with a metal plate covering it.  Just checked mine and it looks like you can let the drive sit loose (like the original HDD1 which only has rubber edging to keep it in place) or buy a special bracket for the additional drive.  The bay is there and so is an HDD2 connection on the motherboard, but no HDD2 SATA cable or bracket as far as I can tell.

yes it has both a webcam &. a media card reader. i have used them both. i like the computer although i'm still learning how to navigate windows 8. it's not as difficult as i had heard.

This is a 4th generation Intel processor. The first integer in the processor model number usually represents the generation. This processor is a 4700MQ, so naturally it is a 4th gen.
