The CRU 8301-5000-1500 removable driver carrier is for use with DataPort 30 SATA 3G HDD frame (part number: 8442-6502-0500, and sold separately). It accommodates 3.5" SATA drives using cable-less connection, and slides into the receiving frame to form a functional storage solution. The carrier is hot swappable, so there is no need to power down to switch drives. The durable connector is engineered and verified for up to 25,000 carrier insertions into the frame for reliable, lasting performance. The rugged metal construction dissipates heat quickly while ensuring the safety of your drive and data.
