5 out of 5 eggsThe best that I can find

Pros: Huge. A nice looking black metal. Holds 10 hotswappers. I use them all. This is the best case that I can find that meets the needs of my virtual server. The 3 front fans are good to cool the sas drives that i use. It can house 2 power supplies, and a mobo of any size imaginable by humans. For all you gamers with heavy grfx cards, there is a bracket to hoist up the front right corner of the card. Although if you were a gamer, why you would want a case this big and loud is beyond me. The front hotswap slots can take SAS, thats nice. I remove the stock fans and put in my own LED fans so I can tell they are spinning.

Cons: Kind of expensive. I dont like the fact that I still have to put 4 screws in each drive to make it "hot-swap". It's more like "hotswap and then some". I'm used to the simple pop it in, pop it out in 1 second.

The swinging door on the front doesn't have a big enough magnet. Gravity is strong enough to pull it open (if you tip the server).

Other Thoughts: I said it's the best I can find, but I'm still looking for a better case.

5 out of 5 eggsidk what lulz

Pros: Everything! I absolutely love this case! I love the large fans, the removable motherboard tray, the backplane, the power switches, the option of mounting your power supply at the top or bottom or having duals, being water cooling compatible, running cooler and quieter than I expected, everything!

Cons: I haven't yet tested to ensure every slot on the backplane is going to the proper connector, but it's easy enough to change cables around I dont really care. Umm.. cons...um...it doesn't have rollers on the bottom? lulz, not that i really care b/c it's stationary as a desktop should be.

Other Thoughts: I don't know what you're smoking if you think this case isn't awesome. This is by far the best case out there IMO! If you had problems with delivery of your product complain to UPS not newegg!

1 out of 5 eggsUtterly Meh for the money

Pros: Stands tall like a black monolith of justice.
Lots of room to work with internally.
Decent Sound insulation and rubber padding on doors.
The hotswap drive system is almost unique to non-server style cases. Trust me, if you think this case is loud, try a Supermicro workstation or server case with these hotswap options. It's all relative.
The case you dream about at night probably doesn't exist and this is the closest you're going to get without a lot of modding.
I got it for $300 on sale, WOOO!
Cheap backplane doesn't seem to interfere with enterprise grade raid card and drives. I get insane speeds with a 6 drive SATA raid6.

Cons: Despite decent sound insulation, the cheap OEM fans are easy to hear roaring out of the back and will likely need replacement or volt regulation. Most of the convenience features of the case like removable motherboard tray and quick release sides work to generate new sources of rattle and are counter productive.
The removable motherboard tray won't work with a large aftermarket heat sinks like the megahalems.
Other reviews have mentioned this and it's true, the hotswap power switches don't turn the correct drives on and off. I'm not really sure how something this simple ever leaves the factory.

The fundamental flaw with this case is it's failed attempt at convergence. Clearly it wants to 50% workstation grade, 50% enthusiast. But they've chosen all the wrong features from each category. Remove glowing blue fan LEDs, remove drive power switches, add drive failure LEDs, add SAS backplane comm, add a metal faceplate for optical drives. This stuff is so obvious, please just get i

Other Thoughts: The first case Newegg sent was a disgrace.
THE KEYS TO THE FRONT DOOR WERE MISSING and the drive cages locked.
Screws that should have been black were silver.
The bios chirp speaker was missing.
Parts of the case were scratched.
Fan Cable twist ties were off.
Bent capacitors on drive back plane.

Newegg customer service took attitude with me about it and insisted that they only shipped new unopened items straight from ABS manufacturer, but then conceded and shipped me a new case and a prepaid RMA shipping label for the broken one. THANKS, but ironic blame game since Newegg owns ABS.

Case number 2 showed up much closer to correct, with severely bent power supply holder rails in the bottom. This damaged is cause by the way ABS zip ties the accessory box in for shipment. Bent back into shape with pliers. I'll be keeping damaged case 2. I have to do a lot of biz through Newegg and don't want to be labeled a problem customer.

3 out of 5 eggsNot a Bad case, just bad customer support.

Pros: Handles all my hard drives. Lots of room, especially when you remove the middle bar, since I did not have a long video card. Nice cable management system.

Cons: It is supposed to be a toolless case, but I can not figure out how to remove the hard drive cage at the top. I am thinking you have to remove some screws to remove it. That may be for shipping, but it will take 4 days to get an answer. Will post the answer when I get it.

Other Thoughts: I called tech support, turns out ABS is a newegg company, and they directed me to a different website for directions. The case was not listed, and the model ABS said was mine on the otherwebsite was not even close. That and part of my issue was that the drive cage is already removed in the directions.

4 out of 5 eggsIf you need room, this is the case for you!

Pros: First the obvious. This case is HUGE! I'm using this case to build a home server, and currently I have 8 Hard drives and 2 DVD drives in it and still have plenty of room for me to expand (eventually I'm going to have it filled with 12 hard drives).
Also, the case itself is well designed. There are no sharp edges in the case for you to catch your hands on. Usually my hands are pretty much mangled after a computer build, but this time, I built the whole thing without one cut.
I like how the hard drive bays are designed so that once you install the brackets onto the drive, the drive just slides into place. It makes installing a new drive a snap! I'm just worried about losing the spare brackets by the time I'm ready to add more drives.
As I'm building a server, I didn't have to worry about fitting massive video cards into the case, but it looks as if even the biggest would fit in here without a problem.

Cons: The only con I've found so far was mentioned in another review on this site. The power switches for the drives all worked; however a few of them did not work for the drive that they were supposed to work for. (I.e. switch 4 turned drive 3 on and off, and 3 turned off drive 4) This was a relatively minor problem, and it was easy to work around, but I did have to rate the case lower because of it. I'm sorry, but I feel that if you spend this much for a case, you should be able to expect everything to work properly.

Other Thoughts: With all of the fans in this case, cooling is not an issue for me especially as I am not overclocking my system. It pushes a lot of air through, without a lot of noise.
Overall, if you are building a computer with many drives or that you need a lot of room for other components, I can't imagine a better case for you. You could almost fit a family of 4 into it with room to spare! For its size, this case is also light. I was expecting it to be much heavier before it came in.
The case also came with more than enough screws etc for anything you'll need to do, and came with a nice little case for all of the excess screws.
Overall, I'm very happy with this case. If you are building a typical home computer, this case will definitely be overkill, but if you need a case with plenty of room, this case fits the bill

5 out of 5 eggsTigas Case

Pros: 10 hot swap bays, 3 make-up air fans with filter. Dual exhaust fans, good positive pressure in case to keep components clean. Quality construction, case looks great, however it is large, typical of a server/raid case.

Cons: A very minor item. The door on the front that houses the filter and 3 make-up air fans has a lock, which was missing the peg behind the lock cylinder. Both ABS and the Egg wanted to RMA the case and even agreed to pay for the return shipping for a piece that could not have costed $0.25. I would not have felt good to let those folks pay $100 for shipping and RMA fees for a missing 25 cent part, which I had made from a piece of metal and a dremel tool.

Other Thoughts: The Egg is the best and looking forward to a long term relationship with those folks on computer equipment...!

5 out of 5 eggsgreat case

Pros: awesome case, but not sure if it fits my P800 sas card which is a whooping 12 3/4 inch long card.

Cons: price

5 out of 5 eggsBest Case I've Ever Owned

Pros: Top of the line design, construction and materials. Everything is high-quality metal. The side panels slide in and bolt down for maximum sound dampening, the best I've seen. Tool-less. Tons of room. Very quiet and cool.

10 hot-swappable, independently powered, SATA drives, and they work great.

This case was built to be cool, quiet, and sturdy; and they hit the nail on the head. This is my first experience with ABS and I couldn't be happier. They give you lots of spare screws/hardware/etc... they just do it right.

Cons: Somewhat expensive and it's big, but honestly it doesn't seem as big as I thought it would be.

I wish there was an LED for each hard disk... but I think I'll live.

Other Thoughts: Perfect case for my home office server. Cool and quiet in the back room. 6 hard drives in there already, and plenty of room to expand.

4 out of 5 eggsHad to mod a little

Pros: Plenty of room and fans.

Cons: I removed the hotswap to alleviate the cable routing and use Sata power cables only. I had an old Raptor that wouldn't fit and did not really need the hotswap feature. The case uses a thin aluminum for panels but this is to keep weight down.

Other Thoughts: I would buy the case again if needed. I loved my old Zalman GT 1000 but not enough airflow for new GPU's to keep cool.

4 out of 5 eggsABS Tigas Super tower case

Pros: Large internal space, removable motherboard tray, extra harddrive cage with rubber mounts on top, easy access intake filter, very quiet fans when undervolted around 7vdc, and three setting variable fan controller for front fans. Strong and lightweight case. The shipping boxes are double boxed from MFG so no dents or scratches. Plenty of spare parts along with a nice case to hold screws.

Cons: No variable voltage controller for two rear fans (noisy at 12 vdc), side door locking mechanisms rattle, no option to not purchase the hotswap SATA tower (I removed from case right away to house a radiator), and price.

Other Thoughts: Great watercooling case as the front intake fits 320 or 360 radiators. All aluminum so plan on bitumen insulation to isolate vibrations.
