4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case, but PSU Died

Pros: The case itself is very solid and is nicely build. It is a tight fit, but that is to be expected. You will need a fan since it does get hot inside this case (be wary that many of the small fans that fit it make tons of noise).

Cons: My only complaint is that 6 months into HTPC use the PSU died. While I can easily change it for a 150w Pico PSU, I still feel 6 months is a little short. (Yes it is covered by the 1 year warranty)

Other Thoughts: It is still a great unit and would buy it again for a build.

4 out of 5 eggsbright!

Pros: Very small form factor with an incredibly solid construction, one could drive over this thing and it would be unscathed.

Cons: The item comes with a white bezel for the front slim optical drive. In my opinion this made the thing look like a clown so I removed it. However the PSU is right under the slim optical bay and the blue LED on it is so bright that it can be used as a night light or other signaling device like a light house.

Other Thoughts: you will need a very low profile PSU heat sink. The stock cooler that comes with the i3-2100T works but dont expect any overclocking in this case because ventilation will be a major problem

2 out of 5 eggsPoor Internal Design & Air Flow

Pros: Has a very basic exterior design. Nice small footprint. Easy to put together.

Cons: Very very very poor internal layout! Has basically no air flow even if you install the "optional" fan. Which the position to install the fan has to be modified in order for and common fans to be installed. That being said, the case generates standing heat pockets even with the fan. Not to mention the HDD sits right on top of the CPU heat sink! Had this for about 3 months. If not keep in an environment less than about 70 degress F, it shuts down from heat. Sad to report that the PSU board inside burnt up and died. I opended the case to see what happened and all the connectors were yellowed from excessive heat. The hard drive's label was chared and when I plugged it to to see what the cause was, a flame burst out on an inductor on the PSU board!

Other Thoughts: Nothing but a fire hazzard! Not to mention, who designs a case with an "optional" fan? First and last time I will every buy from this company! Just glad I was home when the PSU board caught on fire...

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome!

Pros: I laughed when I opened the box and felt how heavy and sturdy it felt. The thing is built like a tank. Everything fit well inside and no hiccups.

Cons: The cooling options are a bit limiting to say the least. There are very few places to put a fan. There is ONE fan bracket on one side that can hold either a 50mm or 60mm, 10mm think fan but not on the other which there is plenty of room to do so and it would double the airflow if there was. You need to get a slimline adapter and don't get the cable as cable management is tight.

Other Thoughts: Build:
This case
AMD E-350 Dual-core 1.6ghz
4gb ddr3 ram
250gb hdd
DVD+CD RW drive

4 out of 5 eggsQuality Case

Pros: Well built case with solid construction.
Comes with every screw that you could possibly need.

Cons: Will not fit with the Silverstone NT07 and an SSD or HDD when installed with a slim optical drive.
RAM with heatsinks taller than the actual module will not fit.
No room for cable management.

Other Thoughts: I bought this case to use as an HTPC. I was hoping to use the Silverstone NT07 instead of the stock heatsink on my Core i3-2100T. However, when an SSD is installed along with an opitical drive, the SSD hits the top of the fan and will not fit. I didn't test the stock heatsink/fan, but instead just ordered the Silverstone SUGO SG05B since it has more room.

The case itself is wonderful and would work great if there was just a little more room.

4 out of 5 eggsNice, but not perfect

Pros: Case looks nice, solidly built. Pretty small for an ITX case.

Cons: Not a lot of ventilation in the case, few places to add fans. No front USB ports. Blue led on the power button is bright and annoying (although that is every case, it seems).

Other Thoughts: If you're using a Sandybridge mobo, there actually is enough space (contrary to another review here), although it is tight.

I'm using the Intel DH67CF and a i3-2100T, along with a single 3.5" drive. If you don't install a CD drive, you can fit the 3.5" drive without any problem, but leaves less space than desired.

Alternatively, you can fit a slim DVD drive in the bay with a 2'.5" drive underneath, although that is very tight. When I tested it out, it barely fit.

Installing a pico power supply is great, but blocks the fan location on the drive tray. I solved this problem by rotating the drive tray since I didn't install an optical drive.

My idle temps are around 29-34 with one 50mm fan for intake, and all seems good. Wish it was a little better ventilated, though - would probably go with a slightly bulkier case for that reason next time.

5 out of 5 eggsHabey EMC-800B not Newegg shipping

Pros: got an itx board - this is the cats' meow ... !!! ordered two(2) today. sticking Asus AT3IONT-I Deluxe into them both - then giving them to two kids ranked as grand kids ... :) the big cats will roar for this motherboard - 4 sata2 ports, wi-fi, and so much more to trip over ... let ASUS tell you about it:

this is all you need ... even have a backup dc power supply, just in-case, and you know Murphy is always in the area.

Cons: too bad there power supply company, I can't afford to buy you out. heat from the big cases would be nice in the winter, but summer days, turn on the A/C ... windows open bottom and top to let the wind do its job ... don't have to wire the house.

Other Thoughts: using Blu-ray OOD + SSD drive, fast, quiet, no heat, and upgrading plugs into the usb2 and usb3 ports. will add Scythe 10mm fans as required.

notice usage of Scythe, USB3.0, SSD, etc, etc ... blow away PC Magazine, read and learn, and do-it-yourself builds they do - all they do is make money for "the other guys" ... do yourself a favor, learn and apply what you should be reading - be surprised at the outcome, and what you've got in your pocket.

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointed in shipment pace

Pros: --

Cons: I ordered this item on Thursday and chose 2day shipping to have it on weekend to work on it. Very disappointed in pace of shipping. I have the rest of my items ordered from delivered already while Newegg one is scheduled to be delivered next Tuesday. Will never order from here again.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: It is small, and looks good. Very wife friendly. The aluminum is thick and sturdy and everything works.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Paired it up with an Asus E35M1-I DELUXE, an ssd, and 3GB of Kingston ram. It is great.

2 out of 5 eggssmall

Pros: The case is small and well built. Micro PSU with external brick included.

Cons: The Intel i3-2100 does not fit with a dvd drive and hd. I ended up mounting the 2.5 HDD "after" the optical drive (I had to drill a new hole in the mounting bracket). Still, the DVD rom rests on top of the i3-2100 stock cooler. Temps are a little high even with a fan.

Other Thoughts: The i3-2100t may be a better option as the stock cooler is slighty slimmer.
Forget putting a 3.5" HDD in this case.
