1 out of 5 eggsTerrible Quality

Pros: It was cheap when I got it, purchased from another e-tailer. Worked well for a while, probably about a month before it started breaking.

Cons: After a month or so one of the switches broke, I didn't even mess with it, the plastic just broke and the switch was no good. Now over a year later, 3 or 4 of the switches have broken similarly with little to no user interaction. Just bad quality components to break under the stress of existing... I was at my pc when the first switch went, heard a little plastic snap and some pieces falling, and then noticed that the red light had went dark. The plastic switch had self destructed.

Other Thoughts: I really wanted this to work because the idea is excellent, but the unit I have just did not last. Writing this review to caution others. If you get a good unit, then great. It has a unique featureset that I'm not sure has been copied in another controller yet.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: It works great, even gives a red light on the ones that are not plugged in/not working. has 6 fan controllers!!! 6!!! lets me set all of them to max at all times to keep my computer SUPER COLD.

Cons: doesnt come with adapters or extra cords(would be nice if you had a lot of 3 pin and no 4 pin fans. and doesnt like auto seating very much, prefers screw in.

2 out of 5 eggsWorks but glitchy and expensive.

Pros: Looks cool, gets the job done (mostly).

Cons: 1. it comes with a few different types of connections but not 6 of the same kind? I can't even use several of them and there are only 6 total so I had to go buy some extensions to get my fans working.

2. The whole unit refuses to turn on when some of the connections provided are plugged in (???).

3. Overpriced for what it is. I should have gone with a cheaper one that would have done the same thing... and would have come with 6 3-pin fan connections!

Other Thoughts: Really can't believe they wouldn't just include 6 3-pin fan connectors. Why not include 6 of each? These wires are NOT expensive so I don't see why they don't.

3 out of 5 eggsPricey for what it is

Pros: Functional

Auto and manual control

Knobs turn smoothly

Didn't catch fire

Cons: Very expensive for what you receive

Build quality is satisfactory, but not what you would expect for a $40 fan controller

Uses a 4 pin connector for power. See Other thoughts

Other Thoughts: The 4 pin connector on this is terrible. It takes more force to plug the power in than it does to move a mountain. I have had this issue with 3 different power supplies and this device.

Furthermore, the 4 pin power moves up. When you plug power in, the port itself literally angles up.

3 out of 5 eggsFan Controller

Pros: It works. It lights up. Looks good on my Haf X.

Cons: It works but not as well as i thought. Not as high quality as i thought it would be. I could have bought many others that were better at a better price. Knobs only work about half way through turning. Not recomended for the price.

5 out of 5 eggsSuper Duper

Pros: Becose it's 30 Watts by chanel i can plug 12 fan, 115 C.F.M. each my fan and that way all my case stay verry cool and i use it to cool down my C.P.U. whit dry ice.
I over clock my 2600K to 5.4GHz, overclock my memorys and use my fan controler to regulate the exacte amounte my C.P.U. and memorys need to cool down.

Cons: They start to work only at the half of the controler...

Other Thoughts: 30 Watts each it's ""SUPER DUPER"".

4 out of 5 eggsIt works well.

Pros: Perfect match to my older Coolermaster 690 case. Easy to install. Works as advertised so far.

Cons: Because it only goes deep enough reach the first cdrom mount screw holes it is a little hard to reach if you have change fans. (I am not one who likes to unscrew and unmount components to change expendable parts. This also makes it kind of wobbly if you can only get one screw on either side of the controller mounts.

Other Thoughts: If this were my product I would have provided 6 - 3pin extension cables as well as 6 - 4pin molex to 3pins and done away with the 2 - pin with fan speed board connectors.. since the power mangement cable controls all 6 when not using manual mode. Overall a good product. Just me.

5 out of 5 eggsJust what you need!

Pros: PWM control, 30w per channel, simple design, quality built, manual and automatic fan control. Grill matches the mesh on my Blackhawk case perfectly.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This unit works great with my case and fans. It runs cool and quiet at idle and roars to life under load, still keeping nice and cool. Use two screws to secure the panel. The tooless stuff doesn't work very well at holding this unit in place.
Build Specs:
Rosewill Blackhawk Gaming case w/7 fans
i5 3570K @4.1
Asus P8Z77-V
Crucial Balistix Sport 16GB DDR3 1600
Sunbeam Rheosmart 6 Fan controller
Samsung 840 Pro Series 128 SSD
Samsung 840 Pro Series 256 SSD
Seagate Barracuda 1TB HDD
CM Gemin II S CPU cooler
CM Silent Pro 720w PSU

Both CPU and GPU run at about 30c at idle and run about 47c at load.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks GREAT!!!

Pros: 30 watts per channel, simple design, quality built, mesh matches Rosewill Blackhawk case mesh, PWM controlled, price, nicely packaged

Cons: none at all

Other Thoughts: This controller works great. Other people had said it didn't mount correctly, well it does. You have to use two screws to secure it. Fits like a glove on my Rosewill Blackhawk case. The PWM control is awesome. Well worth the money.

2 out of 5 eggsBroke, caused mobo to malfuction

Pros: Works as advertised.
Simple.
Matches Antec 900 grills.

Cons: Not the best build quality.
Dead after 10 months.

Other Thoughts: One day my computer wouldn't turn on. I instantly thought it was my PSU (OCZ 750w 80gold). After two days of removing components, I ended up pin-pointing the entire unit was being effected by the Sunbeam controller. Once I removed the faulty unit, everything went back to nominal condition.

Luckily, it's still within the 1 year warranty but it was such a pain removing all the cords, not sure if it's worth the hassle (especially if you have your wires tucked away for airflow).
