With Thermaltake's Thunderblade 120mm blue-LED fan, keeping your system cool is only part of its value. The large, 120mm fan pushes the greatest amount of air, but without needing to spin at fast speeds. Lower spin speeds mean minimal noise, only about 21dBA.

Three blue LEDs are built into the frame of the fan adding a splash of color to your case's interior and is a perfect addition if you have a clear side panel. Plus, the intelligent wire management keeps your case tidy and maximizes airflow.

  • newegg High Performance Operating at 2000 RPM, this 120mm fan delivers a strong air flow of up to 78 CFM for near peerless heat dissipation!
  • newegg Blue Fan LEDs Blue fan LEDs provide brilliant illumination while the fan is in operation for eye-catching fun.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: Love this fan. It's extremely quiet and provides great airflow. Great bang for the buck. The last LED case fan I bought sounded like a jet turbine was attached to the back of my PC and didn't provide half the airflow so this was a welcome replacement.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Nice design. LED lights look nice at night. Quiet. Moves a good amount of air.

Cons: Not really a con but the power source is a 4pin molex due to (I guess) the amp draw of the fan and the lights. It has the RPM sens wire for a mobo connector in the small plug by itself. No bigge though. I hooked it up like you should and it seemed to work nice.

As others have stated it should be able to be attached with regular, short fan screws instead of the long, small machine bolts included. Not a dealbreaker though.

Other Thoughts: Awesome Newegg service as usual!!

1 out of 5 eggsReally really loud

Pros: push a lot air. that's true.

Cons: 1. Loud!! made my liquid cooling system louder then air cooling.

2. there is not a really 3-pin connector. it just have 1-pin to connect it to the MB and you have to give power with the 4-pin (the kind usually for hard drives) interface. so, don't even think about using a 3-pin fan controller.

Other Thoughts: it is a 12V fan. to make it quiet, I cracked a 4-pin interface on it in order to make it can be connected the 6V +pin on the other side. Now it is working on 1110 RPM and became quiet.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,
The Yellow single wire is for RPM monitoring only. Power for the fan is provided thru the 4 pin molex connector.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome fan

Pros: Great Air Flow, Bright Blue Led's at a great price as well, can't beat it ;p

Cons: Wires are kind of long, and have an extra yellow one for MB connect, but has Molex connectors also, wires are kind of long had to had behind case. But other than that all is well for this fan

Other Thoughts: If you want a fan with a high CFM rate get this fan, it blows great amounts, at a kind of noisy level though.

3 out of 5 eggsIt's a fan

Pros: It's blue. Lights up well with my other blue LED's

Cons: Doesn't move as much air as I was expecting. I wasn't expecting a win tunnel or anything, but just seems average. No improvement to the fan I replaced it with. Definitely not very quiet. Whoever mentioned. the DC-9 comparison, was on the money

Other Thoughts: Not unhappy, just not what I was expecting. Was a little more air flow.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome fan

Pros: Cooling is outstanding.
goes great with my other blue LEDs with my other fans.

Not TOO loud. A nice even exchange for air and noise.

Cons: When I got this for my computer I had no idea what the dimensions were for the screws. These screws seemed to be just slightly over the diameter of the screw hole. Meaning the screws could go through the tower side.
Thats for my computer, not sure how universal those sizes are though.

Other Thoughts: Fan sounds about as loud as a closed refrigerator one room away.

4 out of 5 eggsEggcelent Case Fan

Pros: Nice blue LED, not obnoxious. This fan also moves a huge amount of air! I have it aimed at my kids' BFG 9800 GT, and it has lowered idle and under load temps by 5 degrees Celius (combibed with their new CM690 case). It idles at 39-40 now.

Cons: It has the exact hum that you might hear from the ingines of a DC-9(MD-80) if you were sitting in the rear of the plane. Not overly loud, but there.

Other Thoughts: Overall a good fan, and me can live with it's fan noise.
