Awesome Side Panel
- Pros: Arrived in great shape, no smudges, no cracks, no dents. The fan has a nice mesh in front of it to keep it from being too bright. This is a great compliment to your CM690.
- Cons: I would have liked a slightly bigger clear side panel, but I guess it's fine as is.
- Other Thoughts: The shipping issue depends I guess. I didn't have any issues with the packaging.
it's a door
- Pros: shipped quickly despite expected holiday delays. The door fits perfectly, with no flexing or bowing. Fan cable is sufficiently long to reach to all corners of a full size ATX board, but rotating the fan's orientation may be necessary to maximize cable length.
- Cons: the box was beat up when it got to my door. no additional packaging around the box, just slapped a shipping label on the retail box and sent it out. The fan is adequate, but louder than the other that ship with it.
- Other Thoughts: despite no additional packaging, the item arrived without any cosmetic damage or physical deformation. the retail packaging already comes with alot of foam and space to avoid serious damage. I'm using the cooler master V8, so there isn't enough room to put a fan in that spot with the the factory door. i ordered this one for cosmetic reasons, and to avoid having a big useless fan hole over my cpu cooler. over all, i think it blends nicely with the case's aesthetics.
looks great
- Pros: great looks almost like owning a new case with the change in look
- Cons: i knocked off an egg due to the led on the burning out in the first hour of use. also the box they shipped it in looked like a bull dog used it as a chew toy but luckily the panel was not dameged
- Other Thoughts: this is a sweet panel to add to your 690 and i highly recomend it but you might want to get some shipping insurance
