Pros: It works. Currently using it as a side intake fan, and it's pulling in air well.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: Kind of loud, but I don't really mind. As long as it's bringing in air.

Cons: Quality control issues?
There are plenty of reviews stating this fan is quiet. Mine is louder than the rattling 23 year old fan it replaced. The sound is a mid-frequency whine that decreases in frequency if the voltage is reduced, but does not appreciably decrease in volume. I wonder about quality control.

Other Thoughts: This is my second Vantec Stealth. The other one also made an irritating whine. Perhaps the variability in the reviews of this fan reflects the variability in ambient noise or hearing or sensitivity to noise amongst reviewers.

Pros: I used this to replace the stock fan in my EVGA 750i "for the win", which was very loud and didn't move much air. This one gets me lower temps at lower dB. It's also decently priced.

Cons: Had to use a fan controller, as it has a mild whine at 12v. Totally silent at around 8v.

Other Thoughts: Used 4 zipties, one for each fan hole, to attach it to the northbridge cooler. Wish my swiftech nb block fit this mobo, oh well.

Pros: Moves enough air to be useful. I may be lucky, but the 3 of these that I got are well balanced and don't cause noise from vibration.

Cons: Airflow isn't that great, but probably near/at the rated amount of 12cfm.

Other Thoughts: Using these to supplement a 4U case that already has pretty good airflow. Only in use for 25 days so far. I will have them running 24/7. If one fails, I'll be back to comment.

- Adapter for MOLEX is appreciated
- Good packaging

Other Thoughts: I bought this hoping that it'd be a little on the quiet side, while it's quite the opposite. It's much louder than even my Core I3 CPU fan. If you are looking for quiet, look elsewhere.

Pros: Moves an impressive amount of air looks very sturdy like it was built to last all without a whole lot of noise. Added this to my thermaltake lanbox lite gaming pc right above the graphics card a sapphire vapor x 5750 which does not have an enclosed fan so that corner of my case was always hot added this bad boy in and all my troubles went out the case through the fan now very cool might replace the other two case fans which are quiet but don't really push out a whole out of air.

Pros: Not any louder than my stock case fan, but better airflow. The sound it does make is the air itself moving and not the fan whining, which is nice.

Cons: Is it normal to have to guess which direction a fan is going to blow when you install it? I got lucky not to have to spend 5 minutes flipping it around.

Other Thoughts: Replaced the stock case fan on my MSI Wind PC used as a always-on home server. It tends to heat up pretty well, and I couldn't even feel the air coming out with the stock fan. This one definitely has better flow.

Pros: Relatively inexpensive. Comes with a molex adapter and long wires.

Cons: This fan is quiet in the sense it doesn't have any mechanical noise. There isn't any humming or vibration that I can hear. However, the sound of airflow is audible from across the room.

Other Thoughts: I knew from reading the reviews not to expect silence from this fan. Since I purchased it to replace a noisy OEM fan in my HTPC I chose to get a fan controller at the same time and I'm glad I did. Without the reduction in speed I can hear the airflow over the sound of the TV, but slowed with the controller it is nearly silent and still flows enough air for the application.

Pros: Very, very quiet, even at full speed. Pulls very little power as well (.08A IIRC)

Cons: (not free?) Can't think of any.
