5 out of 5 eggsSilence Lasted 3.5 Years

Pros: Was silent for 3.5 years of near continuous use @ 37-45C temps before it started making noise. And at least it still worked even with a little noise--giving me time to buy another one.

Cons: It didn't last longer?

4 out of 5 eggsMight be quiet

Pros: Moves plenty of air for an 80mm fan. Not clicking like the fan it replaced. Satisfied with it's performance because it is in a home server and can be placed out of ear shot.

Cons: No screws included. Not as silent as I had hoped

Other Thoughts: Can hear it moving air, not the fan itself, probably because of case restriction of an Apevia Q-pack case (front fan). I have no unrestricted case opening to see if it reducing noise.

5 out of 5 eggsPhenomenally quiet!

Pros: So quiet it can barely be heard...I think it's quieter than the stated 21db!

Moves a decent amount of air. This thing oozes quality craftsmanship.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: I have these working in two of Vantec's 3 in one HDD 5.25" bay installations. One is in my server, and has run 24/7 for over a year. The other runs several hours per day in my gaming rig. This fan keeps those HDD's cooler than the ones in case HDD bays. And you simply cannot hear it, which is HIGHLY unusual for 80mm fans.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Fans - Quiet

Pros: well constructed simple 80mm fans with sensing and everything you need to hook them up to either the mobo or molex. no fancy lights, no gimmicks.

They run so that you can't even hear them with a couple of them in a bare steel case.

Cons: No protective fabric wrap on the wires, but they are fairly well coated so its not really an issue and I haven't seen any of them abrade from vibration after using quite a few in different setups.

Other Thoughts: I add these to every prebuilt computer that I buy for workstations just to exhaust the case better, since a lot of those companies skimp on casefans. They keep everything that little bit cooler, for very little cost and almost no power consumption.

5 out of 5 eggsForever Fans

Pros: Bought these for my CPU heatsinks on my Xeons. I figured after 12 years at least one was due to go out, but still these Bad-Lads are still churning the air out of the Swiftech MCX-V-PRO heatsinks. These are the best Heat Sinks and the Most Reliable Fans i have EVER bought. What a match.
The fans have been running 24/7 for all these years and never have had an issue with either fan on my server PC-DL MoBo. She is till kicking like new and these fans are one reason for this exceptional 12 year life span of the MoBo. The CPU's are just catching up to the 604 pin Xeon CPU's. With two on this MoBo that is a whopping 1208 pins and two cores pumping data.
Just now getting beyond the pins and the power these are pumping out. Geezzz what a Great MoBo with Superior Fans to keep the CPU's cool.
I now have a second set Just in Case one or both go out for some quirky reason.
Will be loading Windows 7 Pro on this Bad-Lad very soon (soon s it comes in) and will still be using this setup and Fans.

Cons: What Cons - Should have them in a World Record Review for Survivability and Continuous Service for 12 years - Geezz what other Fan can State this type of continuous service and reliability? None i can think of at all.

Other Thoughts: Should be in some sort of Fan Hall of Fame for Never Giving up The Ghost - Will Never Part with these Puppies

5 out of 5 eggsQuality fan, quiet

Pros: Solidly built fans, very quiet operation

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these for a server chassis and they were whisper quiet when I put them in and tested them. Then when I reinstalled the grill they became noisy. So the air coming through the grill is producing the noise. Nice fans and will buy more when the other server factory fans fail.

5 out of 5 eggs3 years running strong

Pros: Quiet, low cost, moves air, has lasted just over 3 years! My system temperature dropped about 2 degrees Celsius once I installed this.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I am impressed this fan lasted 3 years, running probably 7+ hours a day average. Definitely worth the money. Will replace with same one when it dies...
