What A Disappointment

Pros: Length of wire would have been good for a side panel fan. Cheap.
Cons: Cheap.
Doesn't do what I bought it for. I wanted to attach a 3-pin fan to the side panel of my case so I can disconnect it at the adapter when opening it. Seeing that this had two 3-pin connectors I thought I could put two fans on it. Bonus, right?. WRONG! One connector goes the other way.
There are some lights on the front of my case that use two pins of a molex for power. This adapter only has two pins in it. Not a problem if they line up. But get this, it's the opposite two pins!
Other Thoughts: Why would it have been designed this way?
I looked through all the cables and this appeared to come closest to fitting my needs. Better adapters came free with a case I bought for another computer. If only NewEgg sold those adapters instead.

Pros: I dont know what this is intended for, however I needed it to take a fan with a 4 pin molex power connector, and a 3 pin connector that only had the rpm wire, and connect it to a fan controller that supports 3 pin fans only. By removing the red power wire from the male 3 pin end, and adding it to the proper location on the female 3 pin end, I was able to hook an awesome 80mm fan to an awesome fan controller. This random wire saved the day by making incompatible parts compatible.
Cons: Hm.. Well all I can say is it would be nice if I didn't have to move wires around on it, but as I said, I didn't use it as intended.
Other Thoughts: I needed 2 of these, and only bought one on the original purchase, so I had one loud fan at max until I ordered a second one. The wire was 99 cents, the shipping was like 7 bucks.
