Pros: I purchased this adapter to use with my telescope (Meade LXD75 SN6AT). This links my Laptop with the scope. Works perfectly. I just installed the driver from disc and had no problems. I am running Vista and I installed the XP drivers with no problems at all. Highly recommend. Works great with the Meade Autostar and the Meade 505 cable kit.

Cons: None. Works great.

Other Thoughts: Using with Meade LXD75 SN6AT - Autostar 497EP. Controlling with Autostar Suite.

Pros: Cheap and it works if you have XP. Not reliable with vista although there are drivers that work with it.

Cons: It will not work with vista on some applications.

Other Thoughts: Spend a couple more bucks and get on that is compatible with vista.

Other Thoughts: Used this cable to connect and update a Garmin GPSMAP 196 GPS to a notebook running Windows XP. Works well. Get the latest drivers from the Sabrent web site.
