1 out of 5 eggsFlimsy.

Pros: none

Cons: Didnt work til I put in some crazy positions for pins to touch. Had to unplug it, and was never able to get it to work again. Waste of money

5 out of 5 eggsMASSCOOL XWT-GHQ04 IDE to SATA Convert

Pros: Works just like it supposed to, as one fellow said, remove the sticker "passed", & it will work properly-- i have this as a main drive in a sata config in one of my comp - plus i used a touch of shoe goo on both sides to firmly hold it on, does the trick.

PS: Buying another one!

Cons: None!!

1 out of 5 eggsUtter Garbage

Pros: They work...for a little bit.

Cons: Filmsy and junk.

Other Thoughts: Bought two, they worked..for about 32 days before the first just up and died.

second one died today, after just three months of use. Used it to clone a harddrive. it worked... then i put it into a static free bag...where it died. how the bleep does it die in a static free bag?!

and because of this, I have no media server now.

3 out of 5 eggsAverage

Pros: 1 worked. the computer boots up fine.

Cons: 1 Failed. just flat out died.

Other Thoughts: I ordered two. 1 had worked and is still working. The other died 32 days after i got it. I'm kinda disappointed. Even more so that i'm finding it for 30% cheaper 120 days after i originally bought them.

1 out of 5 eggsDidn't work.

Pros: None.

Cons: Did not work.

Other Thoughts: Neither the BIOS or operating system could detect the DVD drive attached to this board. I don't know if this is just a DOA board or if it's incompatible with my particular hardware or if it's just poor design.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect!

Pros: It worked flawlessly! I literally just plugged it in and it worked! What also initially attracted me to this device was that unlike the others, this one is small and fits perfectly!

Cons: NOTHING!!!

4 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: The only product I could find that would allow me to use old ide drives with a new sata-only board. And price was reasonable.

Cons: No instructions. Flimsy construction.

Other Thoughts: *Needed to set jumpers on my drive to "master" for it to work.

4 out of 5 eggsSWEET !

Pros: Nice to be able to use old drives on newer equipment. I aquired a 3 year old computer with a row of SATA internal connections..... but only one IDE. So I got 3 of these little beauties and now have 2 DVD drives, 1 SATA and 3 IDE drives plus my eSATA external. Total of 5 drives and 2 ROMS... nice !

Cons: Just alot to connect to that one little card, overall works fine when you get everything positioned and setup. The cables are a bit stiff and pull on the card, just tweek it a bit and relieves the pressure.
