5 out of 5 eggsWorked perfectly - Slightly tight

Pros: Worked perfectly - Slightly tight.

Cons: Had to be pressed in pretty hard when connecting to my fan molex cable, but this is fairly normal for molex

Other Thoughts: none

5 out of 5 eggsExactly what I needed!

Pros: The cable length is perfect!

This cable allowed me to hookup two devices, NZXT fan controller (molex connector) and NZXT HUE (sata connector), to one sata power connector. This prevented me from needing to add another cable to my modular power supply.

Cons: N/A

Other Thoughts: I would make this purchase again.

4 out of 5 eggsupside down SATA power

Pros: It works. Solid construction, not flemsy plastic. Cables are pliable anough to route easily. Filled the need for adding a molex to a system with only 2 SATA power, no molex. Using the molex for a fan.

Cons: The SATA power of just about every cable I've ever used is oriented opposite from this one which has the L facing up when the connector angle is down. That means most devices will connect with the cables coming out at the top instead of the bottom. Good thing the cables are flexible or this could have rendered the adapter useless in my cramped case.

Other Thoughts: It's important to remember when looking for a SATA to MOLEX adapter that you think about the SATA device the SATA connector is connected to (unless it is a free connector not in use). A regular adapter without the SATA connector on the splitter would leave you without a connector for the SATA device the connector is pulled from.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect fit for extending power to USB3.0 card in slimline PC

Pros: Sometimes you get lucky - I found out about this exact part while researching why my USB3 portable drive wouldn't work with my newly installed PCI-E USB3 card. (The card needs power fed to its molex connector.) The slimline PC had no spare leads coming off the power supply, so I needed a Y-cable with a male and female SATA, plus a 4-pin molex.

- Leads are long enough to reach the optical drive and the USB card.
- L-shaped SATA plug on the Y-cable matched the direction and polarity of the original plug pulled from the DVD drive.
- SATA female connector seems sturdy enough to accept the original SATA male without taping them together.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Installed, it looks like a custom cable, made just for this PC. Newegg had the best price of the very few places that carry it. Win-win.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great for me

Pros: No issues -- works with SYBA USB 3.0 card in system with SATA power cabled.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Ordered with SYBA USAB 3.0 card to install in Dell 8300 with USB 2.0 and SATA drives.

5 out of 5 eggsIt works

Pros: It does what it's supposed to do. I replaced a power supply on an old PC. The new power supply didn't have any 4-prong molex power adaptors, and this remedied the situation.

Cons: None?
