5 out of 5 eggsPiece of mind

Pros: Makes your case and cable management look nicer.

Cons: Non

Other Thoughts: I understand the adapter is unnecessary but it makes you feel better.

Make sure you look at the name and picture of the adapter I mistakenly purchased a 24 to 20 pin instead of a 20 to 24 pin. No big deal.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Worked great!

I used this to make a power adapter for my Apple G3 B&W to run off of a standard ATX power supply. It's my file server now :D

Cons: None!

4 out of 5 eggsFit Well

Pros: Fits very well. Perfect if you are looking to turn a 20 pin power supply into one that will work with a 24 pin motherboard.

Cons: I am not sure if this has to do with lack of power (it is an adapter so it should adapt) but when I plug something in such as a microphone, speakers or headphones it will shut off.

Other Thoughts: I am not sure if this is my motherboard or the power to the mother board. USB's work fine.

1 out of 5 eggsCareful, you don't need this product

Pros: It's a cable.

Cons: You do not need it. Any 20 pin power connector is compatible with a 24 pin connector and most 24 pin mother boards can be used with a 20 pin connector (provided you have the extra BLACK/YELLOW) cable to power you cpu/pci bus if it's needed by the motherboard.

Other Thoughts: You don't need this. In the last 5 year I've built at least 10 computers with this configuration. It is entirely possible that there are motherboards out there that do require a 24 pin connector, but in most cases, the manual will tell you that you can simply leave four of the pins not plugged in.. and the connector goes on only one way.

5 out of 5 eggsAdapter

Pros: Looks like it will do its job nicely. Saved me from having to buy a brand new power supply. Newegg is constantly saving me money.

Cons: None at all

Other Thoughts: I will likely put some mesh over it if i can. I think it just looks better that way

5 out of 5 eggsWorks, but.

Pros: Works

Cons: None other than shipping via UPS gets to be worse every order.

Other Thoughts: May or may not be necessary. From what I gather, the extra pins supply power to hungry video cards. You can plug a 20 pin into a 24, ended up doing so here and everything works fine. I do not have a power hungry video card which probably accounts for it. Will have it in the cables box if I do ever need one.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works well connecting an Antec 380S PSU to a GIGABYTE GA-MA790GP-DS4H AM2+/AM2 AMD 790GX HDMI ATX AMD Motherboard. Using an ATI 4850 video card too.

Cons: None,

Other Thoughts: It saved me from buying a new PSU.
