Other Thoughts: Had to get two of these so I could use one of those new motherboards with only 1 IDE connector with my collection of old IDE drives. Used these adapters on a 80GB drive and a 160 GB drive, no problems at all.

Pros: Loaded with a 300gb segate - found no problem. With the fan it runs cool. Using it with the sata port makes it a nice fast drive. I can't tell much diff. copying large files on my Dell760 internal drive vrs this one.
Cons: Blue LED lights the bedroom - no night light needed!
Other Thoughts: Price is ok and Newegg ships quickly.
