Pros: Allows me to connect SATA devices without opening case.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I use this cable plugged into my eSATA port on the back of my PC along with the power connector from my USB 2.0 to IDE/SATA connector to recover files off of hard drives. It also works for connecting SSD drives to my PC (for doing firmware upgrades) without opening my computer case.

Pros: Decent construction, decent length, good price.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Ran out of SATA ports on motherboard. Needed to hook up an external e-SATA device. Had old PCI controller card in spares pile, but it had an external serial SATA port. This cable did the trick and all is working fine.

Pros: Handy for temp connections. Can plug a raw drive to an eSATA port or plug an eSata peripheral into a MoBo without an eSATA port.

Cons: Cable is a bit stiff.

Other Thoughts: It's a little hard to tell from the pics, but this is a eSATA to SATA cable. The SATA end has metal tabs (but no clasp), so it makes the two ends look the same in the pics.

Pros: Great price, feels sturdy.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: After a bit of confusion becasue I had never used an eSATA device before I learned the hard way that there is a difference between SATA vs eSATA connections. Since then I have gone out and purchased a handful of eSATA to eSATA, SATA to SATA, and SATA to eSATA cables so now I am prepared for any more of my little mix ups. NOW I KNOW, and knowing is half the battle.

Pros: Nice SATA cable.

Cons: Not an eSATA connector on either end. Yes, both are L-shaped. I checked, double checked, and tried putting into my laptop's port when I realized this wasn't the right product.

Other Thoughts: Not even worth RMAing, I'll just keep this for whatever use I may have for it down the road.

Pros: Works as expected.

Cons: It's red.. lol

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these cables a two different times. Both work as expected with out any issues. I will buy again.

Other Thoughts: Used to connect internal drive to external SATA port. Mobo did not have enough internal SATA ports. Works just fine in this config.

Pros: Does the job. A descent cable at a good price

Pros: I bought this cable to port data from desktop to my laptop. The throughput seems to match what the system buses can handle. (Between 30MB/s and 50MB/s depending on file sizes/location/ etc.)

Cons: For this price, not really.

Other Thoughts: I didn't get this for long term or constant use.

Pros: It's a cable. Connects two components together, transfers data properly. Works as advertised.

Cons: It's a bit stiff.

Other Thoughts: I got this to use with and external SATA case for my PATA laptop hard drive. Needed SATA to ESATA, this works.
