5 out of 5 eggsWorks

Pros: Works as described. No problems.

Cons: The HDMI side is a little bulky. You must have adequate space surrounding the HDMI port you wish to plug into.

Other Thoughts: I use this to connect a DVI computer output to my HDMI TV. So far, it has worked flawlessly.

4 out of 5 eggsWeird static noise

Pros: Works exactly as described

Cons: Makes weird sound whenever a pc hooked up with the cable is turned on. It isn't really an issue since it only happens very briefly when the pc is turned on but it could be a warning sign for future problems.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Solid construction, inexpensive, works just fine for connecting my laptop to my DVI monitor through a KVM. Came in a nice resealable bag too.

Cons: Be sure to check clearances, the plastic at the HDMI end is a bit thicker than most HDMI cable ends, and while this no doubt makes the adapter sturdier, it may block ports or even prevent insertion on some devices.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking to connect an HDMI output to a DVI display input using a DVI cable, this is the adapter you need.

5 out of 5 eggsquality product

Pros: Does what it says it does. Can take a standard HDMI plug and turn it into a DVI connection.

Cons: The connector is a little fat near where the HDMI would plug into your TV or PC. If you have other nearby HDMI devices plugged in, then you may not be able to use this adapter. It needs about one full inch of clearance around the base of the adapter. This is because DVI is pretty "fat" and will cause the adapter to jam against other HDMI plugs (god forbid you have another DVI connection near it like on video cards, because then there is no way it will fit).

Other Thoughts: Overall it is a simple adapter that works well at a fair price. If this adapter had a little cable length between the HDMI and DVI connectors, it would have worked better for me.

1 out of 5 eggsdoes not fit on mobo

Pros: I do not even know if it works.

Cons: right HDMI connector but HDMI end too big to fit HDMI port because case prevents it. Classic, like a bulky USB stick no fitting.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks fine

Pros: Does exactly what it should, no perceptible loss of quality

Cons: Feels like it, and the DVI cable behind it, are dragging on the slot. Instead of an adapter, I probably should have gone with a gender bending cord. Still, I doubt it'll cause any trouble.

Other Thoughts: I had a DVI KVM but my new laptop only takes HDMI. This did the trick.
