Basic adapter, works; not for Eyefinity
Pros: Works at 1080p for an additional monitor/extended desktop. Fits both single and dual link cables (though max resolution of the adapter and most monitors will be fine with single link) - I used a dual link cable because that's what I had.
Cons: Not an active adapter - will not work with ATI/AMD Eyefinity for multi-monitor desktop and gaming (as mentioned, works fine for basic Windows extended desktop).
Other Thoughts: Ordered to take a chance and see if this would work for an Eyefinity setup (with a 6950, you have to use 2 DVI + 1 Displayport for a tri-monitor setup - used this for Displayport -> DVI). I knew there was a good chance it wouldn't work as it wasn't listed on ATI/AMD's site for compatible adapters, but wanted to try it anyway before going for an adapter three times as expensive.

Pros: Probably will work if you have a single-link DVI monitor or device.
Cons: Useless for dual-link DVI devices. Will only output 1280x800 on dual-link DVI monitors, despite appearing to have the correct amount of pins and advertising 1920x1080. Discovered after much research that you need to have an "active" adapter instead. This limitation needs to be clearly addressed in the product specifications.
Other Thoughts: Not even worth the cost to send it back.

Works well, a little hard to remove
Pros: It works well, and it's design doesn't interfere with the use of any other ports on the back of a PC.
Cons: I had a hard time removing it. You need to squeeze very hard to get the locking prongs to recede.
