4 out of 5 eggsReally...REally nice for the price

Pros: The price along with the feature that you get with this bundle for about $40 shipped. I'm sorry, for the average PC builder or person that needs a budget build with alot of features. This setup is for you. As normal fast shipping and GREAT PRICE....Newegg rocks...

Cons: Socket 754...but it is 64-bit..so really not a con

Other Thoughts: Buy it...to build a nive cheap system that runs.

1 out of 5 eggsLoss Cause

Pros: Price...and you get what you pay for.

Cons: Never could get this motherboard to work. I tried 2 different CPUs and 3 different memory manufacturers and Windows XP would never install. Tried 2 other MB makers with same CPUs/ memories mentioned above with no problems.
Chalked this up to experience.

Other Thoughts: Foxxcon support is non-existant, especially for this motherboard. Check out other forums on this motherboard before you buy.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat bang for the buck!

Pros: Price vs. product! For such a cheap price, you can't beat the bundled hardware and features. For anyone needing a Socket 754 board, it's already a great value, but then when you add in the capability of going with PCI-ex video cards, you're bridging the gap in a very much-needed fashion. What's better, it actually COMES with a decent PCI-ex video card!

Cons: Doesn't use DDR2 RAM, but then again, those needing a 754 board will expect this. Also, the card is only actually 16MB on board, and will use an additional 112MB of system RAM to reach its 128MB total, but again, this isn't necessarily a bad thing. What else would you expect for such a CHEAP price!

Other Thoughts: This board is an awesome balance of compatibility and performance. As a Socket 754 board, it's very flexible, and allows for quite a range of configuration. I installed a Sempron 2600+ into it and was able to EASILY overclock it by 10% right off the bat. All the necessary cabling and hardware is also included.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat motherboard at a great price!

Pros: This board has everything I need. For the money, it's an unbeatable value. I've had 0 , none, nada problems of any kind . Very stable board in XP or Vista.

Cons: I prefer a fanless heatsink chipset cooler over a heatsink/fan combo. DDR memory is more expensive that the DDR2. The video card included is for general home use, so if you're the gaming type, upgrade to a better video card. I didn't get free gasoline with my purchase.

Other Thoughts: You really can't go wrong with this motherboard. It's a great performer in regular office or home use, as well as gaming (with an upgraded video card).

4 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: PCIe video for onboard price

Cons: Not many CPUs out there to fit. Minimal documentation, but the things I was looking for (pinouts of mainboard headers for front panel, USB, audio, etc printed on the board itself.

Other Thoughts: Purchased this board to replace a failed ePox mainboard. The original CPU (Athlon 64 3000 Mobile) was still good so it was definitely worth repairing.

Was 'starting over' with a clean slate, so the included text mode drivers for the RAID and IDE on a floppy disk saved me some time... especially since I did not have another PC handy to make the floppy from the CD.

All the required drivers for Windows XP contained on the CDs, all worked well without any issues. If you are installing a pre-SP2 copy of Windows XP, you will want SP2 handy on a CD or flash drive so you can install it before the bulk of the other drivers.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Combo Value

Pros: Cheap full fuction board, tons better than one with onboard video chip - with the card included. No problems with bootup or flashing with new Bios. Way better than an E machine, you can even play some fairly good games.

Cons: Limited CPU options because of the 754 socket. It's not a AM2+ 790MCP Board!!! LOL

Other Thoughts: Bought two of these for a little less than ~$30 each(sale), picked up Athlon64 3200's for $26.50 each, put them in a 11 bay Mid towers with 400w PS I bought for $24 each(frt was $1.99 total for the enclosures); tough to beat those kind of numbers for a system.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great motherboard for everything I do. Plays most games decently.

Cons: Video sometimes lags on newer games. After a year the chipset EPICALLY failed and it was hard to find a replacement.

Other Thoughts: great for any pc, decent for gaming machine.

5 out of 5 eggsgood

Pros: Low cost, ok video card for non hardcore gamer, PCI-E 16 slot.

Cons: 754 slot CPU’s ate more expensive, and harder to find, than other Athlon 64 CPU types

Other Thoughts: Installed “Mobile Sempron 2800+” and “CORSAIR ValueSelect 512MB DDR 400 “. Worked with XP Pro and Vista Ultimate. Vista system score of 2.5.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent buy

Pros: Outstanding product for the money. Installed easily into an XP box with a bad mother board. Booted with no difficulties. I did have to re-register Windows, however. Not a difficult process at all.

Cons: Not cutting edge, but not meant to be.
