4 out of 5 eggsLoving it!

Pros: Game changer for playing video games that utilise this. Tomb Raider 2014 looks great!!! as well as Civilization.

Cons: My only con and why this is ranked 4 instead of five would be that I do run into problems where there emitter doesn't turn on during some games and no way to activate it.

Plus, I haven't figured out how to get a good "Pop out" effect. The only time I see images look as though they come out of the screen would be the Nvidia logo when testing. I've played with the convergence and depth. Nothing really stands out and gives that WOW factor to a "pop out". But when looking at it in regards to depth of field an over all image, it is great.

Other Thoughts: I just wish more games used Nvidia 3D. There are a few that does and others games, while looking great, isn't "true" 3d.

4 out of 5 eggsOoo 3D

Pros: Finally, to put that 3D monitor and graphics card to use. Nice easy setup, first time having 3D glasses so didn't no what to expect. Went easily over my Eyeglasses.

Cons: Not all games are 3D Ready-clearly the highest level of optimzation of the 3D gaming experience. Some games are capable while others are not very much supported (some objects may render differently). Battlefield 4 for example was tiered at "good" and some items were rendered and made the game play a bit of an eyesore. However some other games such as AION for example (who still plays that) or any one of the Batman games, are 3D READY and look very nice.

I don't think I have a big head, but the ends of the glasses feel to be pinching the sides of my head and feel a bit rough. -1 EGG for discomfort.

Other Thoughts: Do keep in mind when purchasing 3D glasses for games that your games are tiered excellent or 3DREADY for the best experience gameplay.

Only played for 30 min to an hour as some games are not all 3DREADY, gets to be an eyesore.

2 out of 5 eggsNot for serious gamers

Pros: 3D looks cool when it works, some is even impressive. Flying a plane in War Thunder feels more realistic.

Cons: In short, you settle for poorer, pixelated graphics AND being owned like a noob for mediocre 3D effect.
Allow me to explain- playing in 3D forces you to completely re-learn your games. Looking at HUD becomes painful, since it hovers over the screen. Looking at crosshairs is hard, you get double vision.
Focusing on both the crosshairs and target is hard.
Maintaining awareness is hard, because tracking a target at depth means you can no longer focus on other objects at different depth.

Overall, I feel like when playing in 3D I'm stepping back in time to poorer(3D) graphics and less skill.

I would not recommend this product, on top of gameplay difficulties, it is also:

A real pain to set up, driver installation gave me an error, resulting in the need to nuke nvidia drivers with a cleaner and re-install
Buggy IR box causes intermittent flicker in goggles
Peripheral flicker from other monitors not at 120hz
You can only get 3D Effect in full screen mode.
Finding the proper depth seting is hard, some games it's impossible to play with any depth.

Other Thoughts: I have an oculus dk2 coming, so I would be able to compare the two.

5 out of 5 eggsAddicting

Pros: Is it good to want to only play games in 3D now? Is it good to merely stroll casually through Skyrim, instead of running or fast traveling everywhere? Is it good to scream out in alarm at 12 am, waking up your dogs and family when you are ambushed by a gargoyle who seems to be RIGHT THERE?!

If so, yes. 3D vision is worth your time!

Cons: Some games need 3rd party software to render shadows more effectively. (HeliX mods)

Other Thoughts: Newegg...you've gone and sucked me into the gaming vortex again with this 3D stuff. I just blew another $650 bucks on an EVEN BETTER graphics card because...3D vision is everything I had hoped it might be, but my graphics card wasn't QUITE perfect enough, ha.

Hey there kids, make sure you have a 3D ready monitor, ASUS sells a pretty great 27' on here for under 4 bills...also, make sure you have family members that understand that you have to disappear into the machine a couple hours a night, because you will!

3D gaming IS the future, just be prepared to throw down some cash, because it is not a poor man's hobby. This is not console gaming, 450 bucks and you're good to go. This requires investment and a tiny bit of research, but it's worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsMind Blowing Experience

Pros: I never thought gaming in 3D would be so immersive (especially games I've played before). I played Fallout: New Vegas with these and wow...It's like playing it all over again, especially with my Roccat Kave 5.1 headset (it vibrates on base) and an XBOX controller vibrating too. Shooting guns and explosions blow you away. Bring on Oculus Rift already!

Cons: Only one pair of glasses.

Other Thoughts: I wish you could just serf the web in 3D, but you can't : (
I really can't wait until Oculus Rift is consumer ready.

4 out of 5 eggsIt Just Works

Pros: Basically plug and play with short wizard for basic setup. The affect, even in converted games, is really good. If you have a game title that is fully compatible with NVIDIA 3D the quality is absolutely incredible. I played Tomb Raider which is certified by Nvidia, the game was beautiful. I am using 3d surround with three monitors it works with no hassle which is MUCH MUCH better than AMD. I have tried both, AMD is not worth the aggravation.

Cons: I took away an egg because the glasses are not as comfortable as advertised. They are lighter than older ones but still get uncomfortable after a while. In a while means in less time it takes to watch a movie.

You have to go into the Nvidia control panel to enable control of the "advanced settings". I would think that convergence would be considered a basic setting.

In some games the shadows and some lighting effects render in a strange way. You would have to see it but they render in 2d so it looks like the shadow is floating or detached. This is not on all games just some of the converted game based on older Direct X. Still playable but an odd effect.

You will need third party software to watch videos on your PC in 3d. I would have thought after dropping the cash on a good video card, three monitors, and 3d kit Nvidia would have bundled a video player in there somewhere.

Other Thoughts: If you are interested in 3d this is the way to go. If you are into 3d surround this is the only way to go! Pushing 3d to 3 screens taxes the graphics card pretty heavily. I am running 780 GTX and it struggles sometimes. For a single screen a lower end card would be adequate. Do yourself a favor and buy a recommended monitor. I bought the ASUS VG248QE Black 24" 144Hz from New Egg at a reasonable price as monitors of this type go. This setup offers a great gaming experience.

5 out of 5 eggsSimply Amazing

Pros: Wow, wow, wow way more then I even expected. easy to get going had no issues. Play World of warcraft and it is jaw dropping. I Really like how you can adjust how much 3d you see so if your eyes get tired you can kick it back a bit then turn it back up later.

Cons: glasses aren't adjustable in anyway but still comfy

Other Thoughts: if you have the money, monitor, and computer capable of using these do yourself a solid and buy them now you wont regret it.
