5 out of 5 eggsCost Effective Card

Pros: Transfers at USB 3.0 speeds as expected. Fits fine in x16 slot. Header and rear slots all usable in tandem.

Cons: Not lightning fast. Molex connector must be connected before header cable or else it's really difficult to insert under header cable.

Other Thoughts: Wish there were a 4 rear slot and 2 header card but that's why I bought two of these for one machine. Working fine on an EVGA x58 132-bl-e758 with a Rosewill RDCR-11003 74-in-1 USB3.0 3.5" Internal Card Reader, Antec P100 USB 3.0 headers, PNY Turbo USB 3.0 128GB Flash Drive, and WD 4tb USB 3.0 connected from the rear slots. Gigabyte GTX 680 4GB OEM Edition is currently blowing air down at one card

5 out of 5 eggsCost Effective

Pros: Works as expected. Transfers fast between HDD-SSD and USB 3.0 FD-SSD. Doesn't take up much room.

Cons: Difficult to insert molex connector after connecting usb 3.0 header cable so connect molex first. Drivers on cd are trash so grab it from the manufacturer's website.

Other Thoughts: 2nd card of 3 and loving them all. 2 are on an EVGA x58 SLI 132-bl-e758 and working fine in 2 PCIe 2.0 x16 slots. 1st card is on an MSI Z87-G41 and still working fine.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as advertised

Pros: As the title states, it does what it's supposed to. My aging PC now has USB 3.0 and this weekend when I move everything into my new case I'll have front panel 3.0 as well. Sure beats using a $10 cheaper 2.0 to 3.0 adapter cable to run the ports on a 2.0 mobo header.

Cons: Windows doesn't natively support the controller chip so you've got to fiddle with the mini CD to install the drivers. Something to bear in mind if you've migrated away from optical drives or use a slot load drive.

5 out of 5 eggsJust works!

Pros: What a relief! Works out of the box in both Windows 8.1 and current Arch Linux. My motherboard didn't have an internal USB 3.0 for my case's front facing ports-- can finally plug into the front. Came well packaged and arrived incredibly fast (2 days @ free shipping).

Cons: None as of yet, as long as it keeps doing what it is doing there will be absolutely no complaints.

Other Thoughts: It cost nearly as much as the cable adapters I would have needed to link my rear USB 3.0 ports to the case's bezel. Perfect price, perfect solution.

5 out of 5 eggsWill this product work in a dell xps 8300?

Pros: Easy install! Windows found the appropriate driver without issue. The performance of the card was as expected. I was able to transfer data around 64 Mb/S.

My customer has been using the card with a pair of USB 3.0 flash drives. The drives are readily recognized when inserted and the drive letters are remaining stable. Overall this is a nice solution to add USB 3.0 to a system.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: As long as you have an available PCI-Express slot open, this adapter card will install into the computer system. This is a 1x PCI-Express card, but will install into any PCI-Express slot.

5 out of 5 eggsSyba USB 3.0 PCI-ex1 w/19pin inter. 3.0 header

Pros: Gives my 960GC-GS FX mobo USB 3.0.

Cons: None so far, will reedit at a later date though.

Other Thoughts: Works great with my addon FP USB 3.0/card reader.

5 out of 5 eggsHigh quality USB front panel

Pros: It's a very high quality front panel, and looks nice. The USB speed is plenty fast, and it's easy to install.

Cons: It would have been nice to have 4 or more USB ports instead of only 2.

1 out of 5 eggsUSB 0

Pros: It didn't fry my drives like some others here.

Cons: reports to device manager that it's working fine. WRONG!

Other Thoughts: It worked once at usb2 speed, and hasn't worked since. just a ( rap shoot when you buy this cheap junk. I guess I'll live without usb3 until my next computer.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Customer,

Check that the card is installed into the system properly.

Update the motherboard/BIOS, and ensure that any system updates have been applied.

Make sure the latest drivers for the device have been downloaded and installed.

Thank you for purchasing one of our products, and for leaving us your valuable feedback.

4 out of 5 eggsNice for an older Mobo

Pros: I bought this for an older ASUS Rampage III Formula motherboard with no USB 3 header for a dual front panel connector. After a small amount of fumbling around getting the card properly seated, it spun up and worked like a charm. Fast, efficient, and doesn't cost arms and legs.

Cons: None that I have found, once I got it properly installed!

Other Thoughts: Didn't have any problems with drivers under Win 8.1. Plugged and played.
