what is the power connection for this card?

thank you,  I have 4 pin power only,  will this card work or could you recommend something else?

It is the small 4 pin connector. You can see it opposite the Mini PCI plug in. I don't think you have much choice other than that, as the card is only 2" in size.

FYI: My desktop did not have a Mini PCI port, so I also had to purchase a PCI Express to Mini PCI Express adaptor card which this card fits neatly into. Besides the 4 pin power for this card, the adaptor card requires its own 9 pin power supply.

1)  This is not a PCIe reguired device?
2) Is that blue connector used for connecting a USB multiply port adaptor to the compter?

Blue adapter is like the one on your desktop MOBO- USB bus connector.  The adapter came with it and breaks it out into 2x USB connectors.  The device draws power from the PCIe connector so you don't need any power connector.

I pulled the WIFI connector out of my HP laptop board I was using as a server and put this in to replace it.  Unfortunately, HP's PCIe slot in my Pavillion DV6 ONLY accepts the specific wireless card in it so I haven't actually used mine.

Does this card have Windows 2000 and XP drivers?

No it will not support those drivers, and you should not want it to.

Question 4

What size (LxWxH) of the board? Need it to fit into a fractal design case Node 202.

The card itself is 51 mm L (including the contact tab that goes into the mini-PCI slot), 30 mm W, and 8.55 mm H at tallest point.

...However, a 20-pin breakout cable needs to be plugged in atop the board to run to the standard USB 3.0 ports and the one that was included with mine has quite a large bend radius, so the effective height of the card can easily end up at an inch or more. (I ended up pulling off the plastic frame around the base of the 20-pin connector and using an adapter from Digikey to turn the cable 90 degrees right off the board, but it's not an ideal solution.) Hope that helps!

Will this work in AMD based MOBO?  I have a Gigabyte GA-M68M-S2P.  I never can figure out the difference between 19 & 20 Pin; they seem interchangeable to me if you have a 20 pin cable going into a 19 pin connector (male) since there is 20 openings on the cable and only 19 pins (right?)  I am looking at an item on E-Bay called Hot Ultra USB 3.0 A Female Ports to MotherBoard adapter Connection slot Bracket that has a rear PCI slot bracket.  Otherwise I don't see how your would use this adapter unless the cables just hung out the back of the PC.

This will not work for you. It would work in an AMD build provided that you had both a mini PCIe slot and the USB 3 female motherboard connectors. Your motherboard lacks the mini PCIe slot and has USB 2 connectors which are not compatible with those on this device. As for USB external connectors on your case, the PCI slot ones are great though I prefer front panel (5.25 or 3.5) for accessibility.
I also owned one of these and it spontaneously broke. I would aim for a higher price point for something reliable. The Desktop market is also very weak, it can be cheaper\easier to buy a used or refurbished computer. That statement really strikes me as abhorrent, but it's a product of the economic system.

Is this card considered to be full length or half length card?  I am looking at installing in MSI AM1I.  Thanks.

This is a full length card at almost 2 in in length vs about 1 inch for a half length.  Will not fit for my installation in smallest of places

I see a 4 pin usb header behind the 19 pin. Is this an extra 2.0 header or is it used to power the card ? I need an extra 3.0 and 2.0 header.

The four-pin connector is a molex type standard power connector. This part does not have a nine pin USB 2 header.

Will BIOS recognize a USB connected to this? Can it be used as a boot device?

Depends on the BIOS in the system - I never tried booting with it.

will this work with lenovo x61 ??

I do not know what a lenovo x61 is exactly.  I used this to allow the two USB3 ports on my Uktra dual SSD unit to be activated as my motherboard had only one 19 pin unit which I had already used.    This card worked great.  The somewhat standard 19 pin pin female plug (with blue cable) for two USB3 sockets plugs directly in.  Note you must have an empty PCI express socket on your motherboard.
