Pros: Works OK.
Cons: BIOS cannot be updated.
Other Thoughts: This is just an average card. You can download a current BIOS for the card from the maker of the controller chip (Silicon Image), and I've used it on other cards with the 3132 chip. However, Masscool uses a flash chip not recognized by the utility, and three attempts at contacting Masscool about this resulted only in silence. Don't expect anything from the manufacturer. Get a card where people report success in flashing the card's BIOS.

Pros: None
Cons: Didn't work. Drivers on CD didn't work, two sets of drivers on the Masscool site didn't work, the SiliconImage drivers didn't work. Windows 7 64 bit.

Pros: Inexpensive. Worked on Windows 7 x64 without a hassle. Recognized immediately with no problems.
Cons: I'm kicking myself for not knowing more about SATA PCI cards. It says 4 ports, and we're supposed to realize that doesn't mean 4 total ports. No, it means there are 4 _potential_ ports. Only two can be active at one time. So, either the eSATA ports are turned on OR the two internal SATA ports are on.
Other Thoughts: Bring on USB 3.0 because this bush league garbage is making me sick. Also, notice how EVERY PCI SATA card has 3 stars? Go look, it's freaky.
