Pros: Packaged correctly and works. Lock on the SFF side, no locks on SATA side.

Cons: No bacon.

5 out of 5 eggsGood basic internal cable

Pros: Decent build quality, the right length to work inside a medium sized chassis. Be aware that the SATA ends do not have clips. The plugs do seem to snap into the drive securely and they haven't moved at all and I don't expect they will. If you are inside your chassis a lot or require clips to ensure security look elsewhere.

Cons: As noted, no sata clips, but I knew that when purchasing the cable.

4 out of 5 eggsAs expected

Pros: Cheap break-out cable for RAID cards that works.

Cons: Not the sturdiest clip in the world, but this isn't supposed to be moved around once connected.

Other Thoughts: To prospective purchasers: This will not fit any common motherboard; only RAID cards with the special SFF-8087 connector that puts multiple (4 or 8) SATA/SAS lanes in the same socket.

I wish someone made these with two short and two long SATA cables. Some of the drives are invariably going to be further away than others.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Works great, pretty straight forward

Cons: None, other than the skinny cables this comes with were kinda hard to wrangle into place for cable management.

Other Thoughts: Make sure you're buying the right kind of fan-out cable.

5 out of 5 eggsthey work

Pros: they work with raid cards that have multi lane sff-8087 connectors to fan out to separate drives the look identical to the reverse breakout cables which will not work with the highpoint rocket raid 2027sgl.

Cons: price? considering that they work its worth the extra few dollars than the reverse breakout cables cost.

Other Thoughts: there is a lack of documentation on sff-8087 breakout cables in highpoint raid card documentation and a lack of explanation out there on the internet. obviously the market they expect to sell to know what cables to use since they are it professionals not the general public. the raid card manufacturers need to realize that the general public have found a need for their product and make sure that they inform the new consumer of the product's requirements so they may make the correct choices thereby avoiding needless rmas.

4 out of 5 eggsWork great

Pros: Easy to install, secures with metal clips.

Cons: Make sure you get forward or backward cables depends on your application (SAS connector on card = forward, SAS connector on drives = backward).

5 out of 5 eggsBreakout cable by 3ware

Pros: Is much more flexible than I thought it would be and was easy to route through my case for hiding and organization.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Was cheaper to buy this and the card separate than to buy the kit.... Go figure. Purchased this with a 3ware 9650se single card which works great.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's a cable, what more needs to be said? Okay, it is fairly long, I didn't measure it but I have plenty of length left over from going to the RAID card to my hard drives. I'm using a Coolermaster Storm Sniper case for reference.

Cons: None really. It is a $20.00 cable but if you compare prices for LSI and 3Ware RAID cards between the versions with a cable and versions without, the difference is usually at least $20.00, usually more.

Other Thoughts: It's red. I'd somewhat prefer black but the "official" one that was the same brand as my RAID card only comes in red, at least here on Newegg. Oh well, not a big deal.
