3 out of 5 eggsdecent. needs more weight to it.

Pros: 7 usb ports, cheap.

Cons: too light... i have 3 cables plugged in the back and it wants to tip over... would have been better with a weighted bottom, red LED is weird and stays on

Other Thoughts: if the bottom would have had more weight to it, a neater looking LED and the ugly side thing sticking out the side taken off this would have been an awesome product.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Hub

Pros: Cheap and looks nice. Works as advertised. I like having the two ports on the front for quick access for thumb drives and mobile devices.

Cons: Packaging is cheap too, oh well.

Other Thoughts: Smaller than I anticipated, but the simple little stand really does keep it stable.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks good

Pros: Nice design. Fits perfectly on desk. Not obnoxiously big. Two ports in front are nice.

Cons: Red power LED Light stays on at all times.

Other Thoughts: Besides for the red LED light staying on this is a great hub for the price. It replaced a Kensington 7 port USB hub that had issues connecting/disconnecting.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: This was so easy to set up. Loved the fact that it had 2 ports in front. All 5 ports in back are beuing used and it recognized everything without a problem. The small size made it ideal for what I was looking for.

Cons: None yet

Other Thoughts: Purchased from New Egg because everything arrives so quickly.

5 out of 5 eggsFirst Class Act - Perfect

Pros: This powered usb hub is perfect and has a perfeshional look. Nice stand and plenty of ports. Nice color, nice look and sturdy. The base connects to the top tower. Two 2.0 USB ports in the fronr, five in the back, pluss the DC power. The PC to HUB USB cable also connects in the back of the hub.

Cons: None. Get a chain to lock it down or someone might want to steal it, because it's so nice.

Other Thoughts: Hub has one red LED for a power on indicator, but doesn't have a flashing LED to indicate read / write access, but thats ok, my flash thumb drive does so that works for me. This is my second one I bought, the first one was so nice that someone stold it off my office desk after working hours.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The hub has a convenient shape and size. The straight stack of ports in the back is nice. Haven't noticed any data corruption or unbearably slow speeds. They've lasted two years so far.

Cons: After about six months of use, two of these hubs started acting finicky when I would bring the attached computer out of standby. About 20% of the time, one of them would require a hard reset by removing then reinserting the power and USB cables. Regular boots worked fine, it was just standby that caused me problems. Two years of this is enough -- I finally broke down and bought a more expensive/more reliable hub.

Other Thoughts: Why do *so many* of the cheap hubs fail in the same way: random disconnects cured by cycling power?

Works fine, nice design

Works fine like a USB hub should work. The included stand makes it nice to setup onto of your desk. Nice small size.
