- Pros: use for os drive. key assembly is great,first notch drive is dead and free to pull,second notch drive is locked in place but still dead third notch and the drive is alive and ready to use. looks good with good fit and don't woory about reviews about lock lever being plastic and breakable, you shouldn't use this to pull the drive out.
- Cons: none, the display is attractive and informative
- Other Thoughts: when used as an os drive and you don't want your machine played with just turn the key off put it in your pocket and if someone trys to start the pc....os not found-----hack that!!!
This product blows!
- Pros: As the title says, this thing blows! But in this case, that's a good thing! I have a 1TB Seagate HDD sitting in mount and it keeps it at about 30c(86f), which is about 8-10 degrees over ambient temp. The install was pretty easy, just screw on the brackets, push on the rubber 'feet' and then install your drive. The knob is convenient, however, I would have preferred some way to auto control the fan, perhaps using some piece of software and or a temperature probe combo, yes I realize that other products can do this, and that this one was NOT designed to do it, I didn't expect it to. Just saying, it's an idea. :) The front fan cover/dust cover is removable without removing the entire thing, which is a plus. The noise isn't too bad. For me, having a cool and long lived hard drive outweighs a little fan noise.

- Other Thoughts: Bottom line, if you need one of these to keep a drive cool, this does the job, get it.
