4 out of 5 eggsGood Utility

Pros: Slim form factor makes great use of space. Lots of USB ports. Can put just about anywhere. All the ports work at once for all those flashdrives you can use. I have no need of the power supply as anything I use dosen't require one- in fact I don't even know where it is. The hub never failed.

Cons: The only con I can think of is the weak magnet on the back. I can't use it on my computer anyway because it is made from aluminum. I did remove the magnetic strip and hot glued the thing on the front of my monitor shelf. It's thin enough not to interfere with anything and is readily available for use.....quite handy!

Other Thoughts: I got this on sale at a very reasonable price and great Newegg fast shipping. I have had it for about a year and still works good. I don't use it as a workhorse but it works fine with the use I give it. I hope this same form factor comes out with the USB3 ports some day.

2 out of 5 eggsA Miss

Pros: Nicely packaged, compact, looks good. Runs a 2.0.

Cons: First time I bought a Rosewill dud, everytime I start my ultrabook dead keyboard and mouse. Must unplug and replug to get it to work. Expected more based upon pass items from Rosewill.

1 out of 5 eggsRosewill Customer Service is horribl

Pros: This was great and was quite useable until the power supply died on me after a year.

Cons: Rosewill customer service was quick to reply then took around 2 months to tell me that they had no "spare" parts to send me as a replacement. Their only suggested was that I buy a new one.

After having bad experience with how they treat some of their customers, I will no longer purchase Rosewill products.

2 out of 5 eggspower adapter failed after 1 month

Pros: Great while it worked. Switch was especially convenient for powering a raspberry pi.

3 out of 5 eggsAs long as you don't touch it

Pros: It works fine when sitting undisturbed.

Cons: If you try to insert another device, it often disconnects all the devices from the computer. I haven't been able to isolate the cause (loose power connection, poor circuitry, etc), but it's happened often enough that I especially avoid inserting new things when another item is being accessed.

Other Thoughts: It was inexpensive, but I'd try a different one if I were you.

2 out of 5 eggsNo juice, no dice

Pros: Multiple ports, ability to mount to some surfaces.

Cons: Including a 2A (A=Amps/Amperage) AC adapter is a joke. This could be 7 ports, or 70 ports, and 2A wouldn't make a difference if you use contemporary USB peripherals on more than just four of the available ports. 500mA (.5A, or half an amp) is the minimum amperage each port ought to have (like on a PC). Yet, Newegg assumes you won't use all the ports at once, which is the selling point of a hub like this, so they save a bit by including a lesser power adapter. Still, if you have seven USB mice you want to use at once, then it may be the one for you.

Other Thoughts: What's funny here is that Newegg seems to include the appropriate AC adapter for this model with their 10-port version, which has an included power adapter rated at 3.5A. Of course, that leaves that model as underpowered as this one, but apparently, they know enough that those 3 extra ports ought to have 500mA. It's just a shame about the rest.

1 out of 5 eggsIncompatible with iPhone4 and 4S

Pros: It was cheap and works to charge my cameras and MP3 player.

Cons: It does not work to charge or otherwise read iPhone4 and iPhone4S. Don't buy if you plan on consolidating chargers to include these Apple products, it won't work
