4 out of 5 eggsgreat usb hub

Pros: I have had much luck with some usb hubs in the past. They just don't seem to last. This one was recommended to me by a friend. Working thus far.

Cons: We will see.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Hub and Power adapter

Pros: This is a really Awesome Hub ad Power Adapter, I use it to plug in my iPod Dock because the original cable was not long enough. I also plug in my Keyboard and Mouse in it, so I can easily Unplug it and take it around if i need to. I also use this to charge my phone when i am on the computer.

Cons: None yet, and hopefully won't have any

Other Thoughts: It is just such a little cute device, thought it would be bigger, but i like it better this way, thats why it is not a con.

1 out of 5 eggsSave your money

Pros: Good price

Cons: It did not play nice with my Toshiba Laptop running Windows 7. While it was plugged into a USB port my laptop would no longer recognized my USB Hard Drive. It took me two evenings to realize my hard drive was actually OK and this hub was causing the problem.

Other Thoughts: Spend the extra $ and by a name brand product.

4 out of 5 eggsTiny, does the job.

Pros: Good price, and does what it's supposed to, I use it as a USB charger for a PDA, cell phone, and PS3 controllers, it was cheaper than any other charger. I don't use the hub function so I can't review that.

Cons: This thing is small and chintzy. When I picked up the package it weighed quite a bit and I thought it was going to be a heavy unit and be easy to plug into the ports without it moving around. This was not the case, the unit itself is small, chintzy and weighs next to nothing. The power adapter is what is so big and heavy. It is sitting on my night stand, floating around right now. I plan to velcro it down as mentioned by another reviewer.

Other Thoughts: The short USB cable attached is perfect to charge my PDA without extra cables, just a thought.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes the job

Pros: Cheap and does what it's supposed to.

Cons: Some of the ports are hard to plug into which makes it feel cheap or poorly constructed.

Other Thoughts: It was kind of hard to mount. I didn't want it floating around on my desk, it just wouldn't go the way I wanted. I ended up using Velcro in a few places as I need it. I think they should have a mount for it and maybe it's own Velcro kit. The Cord for it is short, but that's a good thing. If you need a longer cord, I'm sure you have a ton laying around by now.

2 out of 5 eggsAverage at best

Pros: small, USB's work well, portable

Cons: Cell phone charger doesn't work well enough to charge my BlackBerry. Small, but doesn't look that durable for a lot of traveling

5 out of 5 eggsirocks ROCK!!!

Pros: These hubs are absolutely the best! They have the mini USB cable that eliminates a long cord to the MP3 player and have 6 additional powered ports! I own 2 of this model.

Cons: Well worth the money, but wish they were cheaper? :)

Other Thoughts: You won't regret getting this baby!!! I will only use irock USB hubs and have 6 total..... never had any problems with them. Other brands can't be compared.... and I have owned DOZENS of hubs!

1 out of 5 eggsDead after a few months

Pros: Fast, compact, lots of connections

Cons: Died after less than 4 months. At first it would have a hard time recognizing the items I plugged into it. Then it would disconnect them and reconnect repeatedly. After a while it began to hang up boot if I had anything plugged into it. Now, it does nothing.

5 out of 5 eggsIt Works

Pros: It just works! With the power cable attached, I am able to run 2 external hard drives, a gaming controller, an iPod, a wireless mouse, an external soundcard, and a camera (all at the same time) with no dropped connections.
Also, the design is quite nice (small, lightweight, smooth black finish).

Cons: None so far
