5 out of 5 eggsExcellent!

Pros: Doesn't overheat.
Doesn't backfeed external power through uplink port.

Cons: Does not include external power adapter.

Other Thoughts: I use this to power and connect peripherals to a Raspberry Pi. Using a 4 amp power adapter t can handle the Pi, a laptop hard drive, keyboard, mouse, wifi adapter, and bluetooth adapter and it doesn't break a sweat!

4 out of 5 eggsFaulty but worked for 8 months

Pros: Price, 1 year warranty, worked for 8 months, was able to power my keyboard, mouse, printer, ipod & phone charger at the same time, without a problem

Cons: Over time, 1 or 2 of the USB ports stopped working, so I was dealing with 5 ports for a while instead of 7, but 5 was plenty for what I was using the hub for. Considering the price, I don't see this as much of a con, though.

Other Thoughts: Purchased this off NewEggs EB auction page on Oct 18th 2012. Died today, June 11, 2013...so it lasted a while. Considering the price, it lasted much, much longer then I thought it would and the product exceeded expectations. I would definitely consider buying inland products again while on a tight budget, for sure. I also just realized this came with a 1 year warranty so I can also RMA it for a replacement if I want.

3 out of 5 eggsWorks almost 100%

Pros: * Powers devices and works with all.
* Fairly fast and working.

Cons: * My mac keyboard doesn't work with it on my Mac air. When I hookup my PC every day I have to unplug my keyboard from the hub and plug it right back in for it to kick on. While all the other devices are working fine.

Other Thoughts: * The keyboard problem really makes me not want to buy one again. I wanted something I could just hook up and it work without issues on one single USB.
* I'm giving 3 out of 5 because I have been getting by even with the keyboard issue and I don't want to put all the blame on the hub, it could just be mac or OSX. I just don't want to deal with it right now, but I'll edit my review some day when I figure it out.

5 out of 5 eggsEXCELLENT HUB

Pros: THIS HUB IS SMALL, COMPACT. IT HAS A BLUE LED LIGHT ACROSS THE TOP TO LET YOU KNOW IT IS WORKING.

Cons: IT DOES NOT COME WITH A POWER SUPPLY. I WOULD NOT PICK UP MY PORTABLE HARD DRIVE, SO I BOUGHT A POWER SUPPLY.....NOT IT PICKS UP EVERYTHING I CONNECT TO IT.

Other Thoughts: I WISHED IT CAME WITH A POWER SUPPLY. ALTHOUGH A POWER SUPPLY IS NOT NECESSARY FOR MOST THINGS, IF YOU CONNECT SOMETHING THAT REQUIRES A LOT OF POWER, YOU'LL NEED TO PURCHASE A POWER SUPPLY.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Lots of ports.

Cons: I wish it would have come with a mount or stand. Also it won't correctly correctly mount my camera for some reason, even with external power.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: works if no power is required by the device you are using.

Cons: Requires power (which does not come with), otherwise cannot get the external HDD to work.

Other Thoughts: If you have exteran HardDrives or any type of storage, buy a USB hub that supplies its own power, otherwise they can't do much.

5 out of 5 eggsEggcellent!

Pros: Price, 1 year warranty, 7 ports, blue led looks cool & matches perfectly with all the other leds I have, works with everything I've connected to it so far without zero problems, has an outlet for a power power supply should you need it & I got a sweet deal on it thanks to a Newegg/eB promotion & received $2 back in eB bucks!

Cons: The only 1 minor con for me is that the main outlet that connects the hub to an already existing USB port is on the side as opposed to back, making it somewhat hard to position neatly on a desk, but I already knew that going in.

Other Thoughts: Buy it if you need it, it works great & you're covered under a 1 year warranty should you run into any problems, can't really go wrong. Most other hubs being sold have mostly horrible reviews, this one doesn't, for a reason. If the blue light on the hub annoys you, throw some black electrical tape over it and call it a day.

& Keep an eye out for those eB/NewEgg promotions. eB has these promotions from time to time where you receive 25% back in eB bucks if you buy an item from certain sellers, and NewEgg's entire eB store is usually always on the list, so keep an eye out! Usually lasts for 24 hours or so.

5 out of 5 eggsUSB 2.0 Hub

Pros: Works as intended. I have about 4 devices hooked up to it and they all detected flawlessly.

Cons: See other thoughts

Other Thoughts: Nothing to take an egg off for but it doesn't come with a power supply but of course you only need that if you're trying to power more power hungry devices such as an external hard drive or something.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Compact, lots of ports, ports well spaced.
Comes with a mini-b cable for it's upstream connection.

Worked first time without a hitch, no issues so far.

Cons: Blue light is bright and might be annoying.

Other Thoughts: Does not ship with a power supply but it ran fine without one. I've got a keyboard, mouse, and a few game controllers hanging off of it and it works great.
