1 out of 5 eggsLemon, Broke over night

Pros: small, smooth looking, avarage speed of transfer

Cons: needs power, some computers wont recongnize it,

Other Thoughts: I am very dissapointed, I had other usb drives that lasted for years and I would new ones for advancement of technology but this one just gave up 1 day little after a year of normal use.

1 out of 5 eggsIt doesn't work

Pros: None

Cons: It now only recognizes one USB3 device at a time. I know the device is fine because if I plug it directly into the ports on the PC, it works perfectly.

Other Thoughts: There's no point in paying to return this item so I will just consider it a loss and lesson learned. SIIG has not improved their quality over the years.

1 out of 5 eggsNon functional USB 3.0

Pros: Compact form

Cons: USB 3.0 failed on me after a couple of months use. I have several units and this is the first failure but is the most used unit. It works with USB 2.0, but that's pointless.

1 out of 5 eggsAnother Lemon

Pros: None

Cons: This was a replacement for a previous defective. It is just as defective as the first. It will recognize USB 2.0 devices but not USB 3.0. On a reboot it may recognize one USB 3.0 device but only one and then if you remove it, it won't recognize it again.

Other Thoughts: These devices have serial numbers beginning with the letters BAD! Most appropriate. Now I have to spend a second $12 returning the device, for credit this time, so I've spent $24 to get a $31 refund for receiving junk.

1 out of 5 eggsForget about Drives that need power

Pros: compact unit

Cons: Does not provide enough power to get my Seagate GoFlex to work on Windows 7. When I plug the external drive in to the Hub.... nothing, no lights on the hub that indicate it even sees the drive, yet the drive is lit...the hub works great with every small USB 2.0 flash drive I have, but for what I originally bought it for....it is a waste of money. If you need to power external drives, I would definitely look elsewhere.

1 out of 5 eggsVery Disappointing

Pros: Nice compact package.

Cons: The hub didn't work at all. When I plugged it in the drivers loaded as they should, but then plugging in devices became a hit-or-miss proposition, with more misses than hits. It would never recognize more than one 3.0 device at a time at best. It would recognize 2.0 devices, but that's not why I bought it. It's on its way back for a replacement and I have my fingers crossed that the replacement will work. I was less than pleased that I had to pay almost $12 to return a defective item.

Other Thoughts: I wish packaging could be less difficult. You have to destroy the package to get at the item which makes returning it messy.

2 out of 5 eggsWorks great until computer goes to sleep

Pros: Connects all my usb 3.0 devices at full speed.

Cons: Devices on this hub do not show up after computer goes in to s3 sleep mode, makes the device somewhat worthless.
I have to unplug and plug back in the hub each time my computer goes to sleep.

4 out of 5 eggsDoes what I expected

Pros: It's USB hub and it functions as such. Attached devices work at their respective normal speeds with reliability. There are pretty little lights to tell me where stuff is plugged in. It's a sturdy little device.

Cons: If I try to plug bus-powered HDDs into every port, sometimes the power can't keep up. No big deal. I really don't need to plug in that many HDDs at once.

It scratches easily, but again, no big deal. I don't think people really buy USB hubs for their aesthetic appeal.
