3 out of 5 eggsCard works, adapter dies

Pros: Card is small, comes with a tiny adapter

Cons: The tiny adapter dies after 3 months. I had 2 of these and they happened to both. The old Kingston adapter that was also small (but not as small as this one) was good.

4 out of 5 eggsThese things are cool but also like to go out

Pros: Low price, very minimal design

Cons: Not as tough as they look

Other Thoughts: I got this with the intent of loosing my USB flash drives for something I could swap out of my phone. There are a few problems: for one the adapter itself likes to go out on you. I've purchased a couple of these and they were both not working w/i a year. That said, I kept it on my keychain the whole time, so rough treatment could be a factor there. Slick design, the adapter won't get caught on cloths or anything. While very cool looking, this isn't a good option for replacing your USB flash drive if your data is important to you.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat Card, Until...

Pros: Great Price, Useful (though cheap) Adapter.

Cons: Failed after 2 months use in my phone.

Other Thoughts: It worked well while it lasted, but a 2 month lifespan on a 16gig SD card is simply unacceptable. Even before it failed, since pretty much the second week it had been running hot/unexpectedly unmounting from my phone.

If I can get a replacement for a card that was obviously defective upon arrival, this would be a 5-star item. Defects happen.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor Performance

Pros: Nicely package!

Cons: Wow i read the reviews and said to myself, im going to be more then happy about the performance of this chip. My other mirco Sd card died on me, and android mobile phone run poorly without a memory card, so i place my order on Wed and i decide to go with the 3 day shipping option because i needed a memory card this week. The chip didn't get to me until Six days later.. what a waste of five bucks.

Now on to the memory card, its slow! it make my phone lag! app take for ever to pop-up, and my phone just bugs out... i was so upset with the performance of this card that i ended up buying a class 4 4Gb mirco Sd card to hold me off until i return this product, the 4GB sandisk out perform this card by 2 class. While xfering music, vid, pic onto the Kingston 16GB Mirco SD it didnt even make it pass 3MB/second. As for the sandisk class 4 4GB it xfering speed were 5MB/second. I ran Crystal Diskmark on twice on both chip and the Sandisk SD card clearly beat the Kingston SD card

Other Thoughts: I will try my hardest to make this be the last time i buy a kingston memory card. Im so upset with this product I feel like nothing can make me feel better about it, Since day one i wanted to return this SD card, for the people that said they saw speed 10mb/second and faster, i know you're lying. End of Story

5 out of 5 eggsGreat kit

Pros: *Price
*16GB storage - Was running out of room with the factory installed micro SD card on my cell phone(HTC Inc).
*MicroSD USB Reader - Having this was pretty handy. I put the new 16gb card into the USB reader, plugged it into my pc. Hooked my HTC Incredible up via USB as well, transfered all the data directly from the factory installed 2gb to the 16gb card. Shut down the phone, swapped out the 2gb for the 16gb card, turned the phone on, worked perfectly.

Cons: None so far. Will update review if something fails.

Other Thoughts: *The reader is very very small and would be easy to loose. Aslo its design would allow someone to place it 'upside down' in the USB port if you aren't careful. Just make sure its inserted properly and it should work fine.
*Device shows 14.3gb

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Card, Unreliable Adapter

Pros: Card has held up well and writes ~ 10MBps, reads about 6MBps when tested on my DInc using SD Tools @ 1024 cache.

Cons: Adapter barely made it 6 months. I wish I could find reliable storage with the exposed contact design, but so far its pretty sad. Had multiple Verbatim (Not-So) Tuff and Tiny drives croak.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Small, High capacity, Durable, Ultra-Portable, Extremely Useful.

Cons: None, besides it apparently looks like a piece of trash to old people. maybe it shouldn't be black, lol.
Really, it doesn't look like a piece of trash, but if lost, you better sift through any debris you are sweeping up, clearing off the desk, floor, etc.. and also check everytime you blow your nose to make sure it wasn't up there. I loved the thing, for a whole ~3 months, and the only con is that it doesn't come with a homing device, tracking signal, gps signature, etc. This shouldn't keep you from buying it, as it is extremely useful, just take great care of it, because you can't even fold $40 up that small.

Other Thoughts: I believe that mine is in a filthy, stinking landfill at the moment, because the other day, i didn't have my wallet in my pants(i usually keep the thing in my wallet so i always have it) so i sat it down, where it appears to have been discarded as refuse by unnamed old people with failing eyesight :( . Next time i get one, I am going to attach a brightly colored ribbon or something, because then maybe the cat will find it first, and that will draw attention to it, that it's not a piece of trash, but a cat's toy. First time i thought i lost it, it turned out to be blending in with a dark-colored rug. another time i lost it, it turned out i left it plugged into a computer 20 miles away. another time, across the street in their computer, another time.. Anyway, hopefully it's just in the washer/dryer because it's resilient. Millenia from now, Archaeologists will unearth it from the fossilized landfill, and it will work, and they will experience Backtrack, Ubuntu, Windows 7, & some others.

5 out of 5 eggsPlug-n-play

Pros: Put it in a Samsung Galaxy S I9000. Worked right out of the box, no format needed ,etc. Made in Taiwan.

Cons: USB reader is small, and will likely get lost before it's all said and done. USB reader made in China.

Other Thoughts: If you've never installed one of these in your phone, they push in and lock. To remove, push it back in slighlty to unlock it, and it'll pop out on it's own just slightly--it's just like those glass doors on a stereo cabinet. Do NOT try to just pull it out without unlocking it--and it's recommended to turn the phone on, and "unmount" it first. Shows 14.87 gig--that's pretty much standard issue as they say, so good to go.

5 out of 5 eggsBetter than expected

Pros: Speeds on my HP Pavilion laptop with the USB reader was write at 8 m/s with a 700 M video file. The USB reader is a nice feature and bonus. Good price. A winner

Cons: None yet.

Other Thoughts: Looking to put this in my HTC EVO. The 8 G chip that came with only writes at about 3 m/s.
