works well
- Pros: beige and black faceplates included. Plug and play for windoes, a monkey can install it. Reads 30 types of memory cards and even has a usb pass through for those of you who don't have one on the front of your case.
- Cons: none
- Other Thoughts: two slots can be used @ the same time for data exchange
- Pros: Works reliably and fast. Uses a solid USB header for connecting to the motherboard instead of just a bunch of wires you have to decipher the hook-up order to get it installed. Been using these in system builds for a year now and haven't had a single one of them go bad yet. Comes with a beige and black exchangable face plate.
- Cons: None that I can think of.
- Other Thoughts: Don't use the CD that comes with this unless your running Windows 98. Windows XP and Vista have drivers built-in for this. Would like to see it come in silver. Until then, I can keep spray-painting the face plate when the need arises.

Causes sleep/suspend problems
- Pros: 1. When you can get it to work, it does read media.
- Cons: 1. Doesn't always work
2. Causes other problems on system
- Other Thoughts: I bought this over a year ago and for a while I thought it was a great deal. But then I realized that it was only working part of the time - a lot of the time it won't be recognized by the OS after the machine wakes from suspend or sleep. Worse than that, whatever it is doing to not work in these cases is causing problems with the entire USB system - sometimes after resume I won't have my USB keyboard or mouse either - after waking I get a bunch of "bu-dum" sounds and all the devices disappear. I finally yanked this from the machine and my USB is perfect again.
Horrible Product
- Pros: Has a usb port.
- Cons: Device failed out of the box.
Only recognizes when a usb is plugged in, does not do what it is supposed to do, and actually read cards. the drives appear in my computer, and the led lights up when a card is inserted, but does not actually read any data.
- Other Thoughts: Stay away from this product. Will never buy a Koutech product again.

- Other Thoughts: Since there are no installation instructions, took a bit long to find the connector on my board. I didn't know what I'm looking for.
