1 out of 5 eggsDOA

Pros: None I know of...

Cons: My unit was dead on arrival, I contacted koutech and they said they'd send me a new one... Waited a month and contacted them again, they said they lost my address, so i gave them my address again. It never came, they stopped responding to my emails. I have since purchased a rosewill that hasn't let me down yet.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: Works as described. No issues so far.

Cons: None really, but look at the "other thoughts" section

Other Thoughts: This product has a 2.0 10 pin connector so make sure your MOBO has a 10 pin connector available. Mine did not, but I came up with a solution in the NZXT IU01 Internal USB Expansion board. It is a tiny board that expands on 10 pin connector to 3 10 pin connectors and 2 USB connectors. It also has velcro on the back so you can mount it wherever you want in the case.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes what I need.

Pros: Easy to install, fit nice and snug. Thought it would be trickier finding one with a grey cover, this one comes with grey & black.. that will be useful if I ever upgrade this tower.

Cons: Smart Media and MS-Duo. what the heck is that anyway?

1 out of 5 eggsWaste of money

Pros: Had a black faceplate. Worked great for the first 3 weeks.

Cons: Stopped consistently recognizing MMC cards after 3 weeks then quit recognizing them at all after 5 weeks. Basically it is now an expensive extra USB port...which works half of the time.

Other Thoughts: Not worth the trouble/expense of an RMA. Next time I'm going to buy this type of thing local so when it quits I won't have to pay shipping.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat product

Pros: Easy install even for the novice (USB cable can not be plugged in wrong like back in the old days of USB motherboard connectors!) and XP recognizes everything. It really is a great product and if I had my way I would put this in every old computer I find.

Cons: In my old computer, I wished the outside panel was more flush/tight but I think that computer may not match others and probably I would blame my computer rather than this device.

Other Thoughts: Why didn't I buy several more? :-(

2 out of 5 eggsThank Goodness it's Cheap

Pros: It's cheap

Cons: Faceplates don't line-up, bent pin on one card slot, not worth the trouble to RMA back.

Other Thoughts: If you don't use a lot of memory cards it's better to buy a USB dongle card reader.

4 out of 5 eggsIt's cheep and it works

Pros: Two face plates, and easy to install. It works.

Cons: The software disk didn't work with one of my CD readers. It seems to be slightly oversized. The USB port was installed up-side-down.

Other Thoughts: Hey, for $20, I'm happy!

5 out of 5 eggsGood stuff

Pros: Works as advertised. Software puts media type next to drive letters. USB header plugged right in to EP45-UD3P Gigabyte MB easy as pie.

Cons: Face plate took longer to replace than it should have (5 mins). Came with beige, needed black.

Other Thoughts: Bought this because I needed to read/write large XD cards for my new Olympus camera. Owned many a card reader and this one is near or at the top for fit and finish, easy of installation, and ease of operation with the media type next to the drive letter.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks as described

Pros: Works with SDHC cards

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: Works just like the description. Plugged it in, load the driver and away I went (Windows XP home). Assigned drive letters to the card slots and the USB already tested works just fine.

4 out of 5 eggsgood product

Pros: didn't have any problems with any of my cards, t-flsh is an added bonus

Cons: slots are a little tight fist time using them, loosens up after use. should come with black faceplate installed

Other Thoughts: not as hard to change face plate as people say, it does is job and doesn't claim to do something it doesn't
