2 out of 5 eggsIt works and it doesn't work

Pros: Works with my iPod, albeit very clunky. Very slow buffer speed but usable. Setup was fairly straight forward. I was dirt cheap.

Cons: Can not get this to work with the Android app. Dirt cheap but in this case, I got what I paid for.

Other Thoughts: Not at all happy with the Android app. My Samsung Galaxy tablet has yet to discover the Toshiba WiFi card at any distance. A wiser person than me would have read the previous reviews more carefully and stayed away from this device.

4 out of 5 eggsit works

Pros: When installed in my (plastic body) Pentax Q (which has a 3" screen); the card talks to my Samsung S III phone (with a 5" screen). Nice for showing snaps to others just as you take them. At the sale price; a very cool, must-have toy. Recommended, at least for casual photography. Need to play with it some more, link it to a tablet, see what other features it has!

Cons: Not sure about YOUR camera, of course, but many modern cameras are capable of writing to their SD card at a faster rate than this card could handle. While cameras don't "need" a card which writes at 50 mb, all cameras have a buffer, but some cameras might work "better" with a faster, 10,000x, super-ultra-premium-professional card. But this card is absolutely fine for most amateur photography.

Other Thoughts: can all be a bit fussy figuring how how to work it, getting it to work, linking it, and so on. In my case, at least, worth the effort. If you are easily frustrated and need instant gratification, and need everything to work perfectly 100% of the time, take a deep breath before using it for the first time. might not be ideal the pro on a professional shoot; but a very neat toy for most of us, most of the time.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat Design...IF IT Worked

Pros: this SD card doubles as a wireless and a normal Media device.

Cons: The SSID stop broadcasting randomly and will frustrate you to wits end.
DO NOT BUY! you will hate yourself...

3 out of 5 eggsYou Need 3rd Party Software

Pros: Works well at downloading pictures from your camera to your PC and is easy to set up. Uses your internet browser to download pictures. However, with a PC you have to save each picture individually unless you get a 3rd party software program not mentioned by Toshiba.

Cons: Will not bulk save all of your pictures to a PC unless you use an outside program. Go to and download "Snowy" to accomplish this. If Toshiba included this free program, I would have given the product 5 stars.

Other Thoughts: Nice product. Never fails to connect to my PC (Windows 7). Set it up to have a 1 minute sleep time (just enough to connect). This will save your camera battery. With the above Snowy software, you turn on your camera, connect your PC to the camera WIFI, start Snowy, download your pictures. Simple and quick.

1 out of 5 eggsNot usable

Pros: It will come on but that is all. See the cons...

Cons: ... The wifi network does not come on when I turn the camera on. I have to open the Menu and scroll around some before the SSID is active. Then, when it does come on, it disconnects as soon as I start to load the webpage in the browser. Then I have to start the entire process again. It is not worth it. The problem is, is the unit defective? I don't know whether to return it or not. I realize that I am being very negative, but the thing just will not work.

Other Thoughts: My camera is a Nikon D3200 which is supposed to be compatible with this Toshiba SDcard. This was tested non only in a residential area with several other wifi access points, but also deep in the woods where there were no other wifi signals.

I regret purchasing this product.

5 out of 5 eggsNewegg

Pros: None

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Newegg...I love you guys, but should you really post product photos that say "Not for individual resale" right there on the bag?

5 out of 5 eggsBe Carefull

Pros: Nice if you own the camera

Cons: Needs the Olympus app on the other end

Other Thoughts: If you check the final picture you can see the "not for individual sale" warning on the bag. That should be a clue that this is something odd. It's a card that goes in an Olympus camera to let it WiFi dump pictures.
