5 out of 5 eggsThe flash drive that rocks!

Pros: This baby is the Vista ReadyBoost master! Very fast, good size for Vista 64 bit to load it up for fast access.

Cons: I hate the added extras they like to pack in these drives. Just give me my 4GB, and leave the auto-loading utilities out of the drive! I have been unable to remove the extra partition on this drive.

2 out of 5 eggsDied after a month

Pros: Nice metal casing with fluid "switch-blade" like motion of extracting usb connector.

Cons: Died after about a months worth of use. Was transferring a bundle of files 3+ gb over to the drive and after 10 mins of transferring windows gave me an error and the drive vanished from my computer. Wouldn't show up on any computer after that. Tried looking around for solutions until I finally decided it died. Contacted the manuf. for a replacement and plan on selling it for a more reliable drive.

Other Thoughts: These brands are more expensive then other usb flash drives offered that do the same thing and are probably alot more reliable. Instead of buying a nice casing for your usb pick something that isn't going to lose your information.

4 out of 5 eggsFreekin sweet!

Pros: Good (*adjective*)! this flash drive has a fast transfer speed. I Just transfered a 2.75gig folder and it took a little more than 3 minutes.

Cons: The case for this device is a little outlandish, with a somewhat gimmicky opening mechanism. one other downside is the weight, which makes the drive sag downward when plugged into my MacBook Pro.

Other Thoughts: Get this drive, you won't regret it.

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Reliable drive, looks slick

Cons: bulky, no lanyard- instead it comes with an even BIGGER (4"x2") cheap leather pouch which falls apart fast if on a keychain. Door hinge is already showing signs of failing after only 6 months.

Other Thoughts: Wish I'd gone with the Cruzer Micro.

5 out of 5 eggsStrudy and Good Performance

Pros: Speed is reasonably good with USB-2 and quite noticeably faster than my other flash drive and up/down loading large files works good. U3 security protection is good to have so I can put my entire office on the FD and leave the laptop at home.

Cons: Bulky for a flash drive and heavy in comparison to other FDs but that is because of the metal case. It bulky size often block the second USB port from being used. Poor performance with USB over USB-2.

Other Thoughts: Login is sometimes a pain when doing file transfers at home but need the security cause my entire office is on my Cruiser. Overall, I have to say that in the past 3 to 4 months that I've been using it I am quite pleased with it and the price at $35 was a good deal.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Good

Pros: The U3 works very well.
No problem with that.

Cons: The sliding back and forth
of the slider to get the plug extended and retracted is a little tricky and will take some time to get use to it. It is not
smooth, but sticks a little.

The Speed is not quite what they say.
For one big large file I got
24 M/sec Read, 17 M/sec write.

For many small files I got
8 m/sec read and 1.6 M/sec write.

Other Thoughts: I am satisfied with it.

1 out of 5 eggsBeware of Jamming!

Pros: This flash drive looks very cool, and SEEMED very slick with it's open and close mechanism.

Cons: It jammed up to the point of being permanently closed! I couldn't get it to open for the life of me. This happened on the first day with ordinary use!

Other Thoughts: I would avoid this model. It costs too much money to trust with your valuable data. Imagine having a work or school project locked away in your jammed flash drive. I feel cheated.

5 out of 5 eggsScreamer

Pros: The title says it all - this is the fastest flash drive I've ever owned. Write speeds 11-14 MB/sec, read speeds 20+ MB/sec. The sliding USB connector is slick - even provides a cover that pivots in front of the connector when retracted. SanDisk also provides a soft case with a keychain attachment.

Cons: Compared to the Cruzer Titanium this thing is BIG. Didn't quite reach Sandisk's claimed write speed of 18 MB/sec. The connector, slick though it may be, is a two handed affair. It's also not the cheapest USB drive NewEgg offers.

Other Thoughts: It has U3, which lets me password-protect the entire drive - without it U3 won't load and the contents of the drive can't be seen. SanDisk does not provide a lanyard, opting instead for the keychain attachment (which I prefer). Overall, this is a great choice in a flash drive.
