1 out of 5 eggsNon mature drive and Poor customer service

Pros: Performance looks outstanding on the paper

Cons: After transferring for the first time data from one laptop to an other (a basic for a USB drive):
1. all data could not be accessed any more from the drive
2. the drive could not be reformated making it completely inoperative

Other Thoughts: Poor Customer service:
1. They do not keep their words
2. After being transferred from one person to an other 3 times, you get a "We apologize for the delay and inconvenience" with no solution
3. Replacement process is extremely long

5 out of 5 eggsGood

Pros: It is very sturdy. And writes very fast. I got rid of the U3. The nice thing is that it keeps the U3 in a hidden folder deactived but ready to reactivate if needed later.

Cons: none.

Other Thoughts: I have always had good luck with SanDisk memory.

5 out of 5 eggsLove this drive

Pros: Excellent read/write speeds. Slow as any other drive with tiny files (less than 1 MB) but when transferring substantial file sizes I get sustained speeds of 29 Write / 17 Read. I like the capless feature of the drive as I tend to lose caps as first order of business. Uninstalling the U3 is as simple as plugging in the drive for the first time and telling it that you do not want to install it. It will leave a backup on the drive should you change your mind, which as the other reviews can affirm, is not recommended.

Cons: The price. With some of the cheaper 32 GB starting to come down in cost, and other 16 GB drives selling for almost 1/2 the price, it's speed vs. capacity. What is important to you? For me it's speed, hands down, and this drive has it in spades. The other con is design, the interface doesn't lock. While the capless feature is nice, just remember to hold the usb key on the sides while plugging it in otherwise you'll push the interface back into the stick. No big deal at all, just a surprise when you first run into it.

Other Thoughts: I love the drive and think I have the fastest drive at the right price point and capacity to serve my needs. Smaller drives aren't large enough. Larger drives aren't fast enough. Cheaper drives aren't fast enough. There are faster drives on the market but not at this price point at this time, to my knowledge.

3 out of 5 eggsSanDisk Extreme Cruzer - Good for a year

Pros: Pretty fast for a 16gb.
Small, light.
Retractable usb is nice.

Cons: Not very durable.
Died for no reason after less than a year.

Other Thoughts: I work in IT and I am constantly using my flash drive. After less than a year of no problems with it, it just quit working. totally dead. Shows up as a drive but cannot access files. Says I need to format. Cant do that either. I had tons of data on it. Back to the drawing board. Doesnt anyone sell a bulletproof USB stick? Good thing I backed some of it up.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat flash drive

Pros: Fast transfer rates, sleek design, nice duarable feel, very unique open/close mechanism, and comes with a pleather case

Cons: Somewhat pricey, but I feel it is still worth it. Might as well get 1 nice flash drive then go through a few cheaper ones.

Other Thoughts: U3 software is somewhat of a waste. Just unistall it.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Great speed and great space. I have owned one for a little while now and I lovr it. This hold all of my class work and my music for my truck.

Cons: kinda hard to open at first. U3 sucks and is worthless

Other Thoughts: uninstall U3 asap

4 out of 5 eggsWell rounded

Pros: 1) Good performance for a 16GB stick
2) Retractable connector (no cheap or annoying cap to lose)

Cons: 1) It can be a struggle to expose or retract against the glossy finish.

Other Thoughts: It would be better if the top surface was grippy instead of glossy.

5 out of 5 eggsFast and Big

Pros: 29.5 MB/sec sequential read, 0.8ms access time. The unit feels very solid(hehe). The open and close mechanism is really nice. When its in the closed position a cover flips up the keeps the dust and lint out if you keep it in your pocket

Cons: none
