Pros: This flash card can write and read very fast when taking pictures and video. Its amazingly priced at less then $30 and really puts out

Cons: When plugged into a computer it has a slow-ish read and write time compared to when put into a camera but thats not to bad

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice SD card

Pros: Stable, fast, and good looking

Cons: n/a

Other Thoughts: I hoped for many more pictures (compared with my previous SD card) in continuous shooting mode but didn't get it - although I'm starting to suspect it's how fast my Nikon D3000 can write more than the speed of the SD card, which is why this is in "Other Thoughts" instead of cons.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Read speed is fast. Just be sure you use a USB 3 card reader and a USB 3 port. USB 2 will not extract maximum performance from this card. Those experiencing read transfer rates in the low 20MB/s are using a USB 2 reader and/or port.

Cons: Write speed is so-so unless the transfer block size is 5MB or greater. If transferring lots of small files (under 10 kB file size), this is a lackluster card. The Patriot XT memory sticks have much better performance in this regard. However, for photographic use, number of small files per second is not an issue since image file sizes are relatively large.

Other Thoughts: I ran some tests to see how fast this card is. Used a Siig card reader on a USB 3.0 port.
Reading:
Sustained: 40 MB/s with >=64kbyte block sizes
Burst: 44 MB/s up to 300MB transfer, then speed reduces to 40MB/s.
File transfer rate: 700 files per second max. Matters only for transferring lots of small files (not a concern for image files).

Writing:
32 MB/s with 1 MB block size
38 MB/s with 5 MB block size
File transfer rate: 120 files per second max. Matters only for transferring lots of small files (not a concern for image files).
