This card is rated at Class 10 and features a new Ultra High Speed (UHS-1/U1) data bus for incredible read speed of up to 90MB/s. You'll be ready to capture fast actions shots and HD videos without missing a beat. For roust protection of your data, this card is designed to be magnet proof, shock proof, temperature proof and waterproof, and features a write-protection switch to prevent accidental erasure or overwrite.

Use of SDXC memory cards in non-SDXC compatible host devices may result in data loss. To ensure compatibility, look for the SDXC logo on both cards and host devices (cameras, camcorders, etc.).

2 out of 5 eggsSome fail outright

Pros: This SDXC offers substantial capacity for its compact size and good speed.

Cons: When plugged into some devices recognition was sometimes slow then it failed outright. No software data recovery software was able to read it.

ReStoringData was unable to recover anything.

PNY returned the SDXC rather than honour the RMA noting hte solder that ReStoringData had added to the SDXC contacts. Even with ReStoringData confirming they modified the SDXC PNY did not respond beyond saying the SDXC was modified.

For obvious reasons I cannot recommend this brand of SDHC.

Other Thoughts: All of this type of memory, e.g. flash memory, compact memory, SSD, has a finite life with a limited number of write operations. For this reason DEFRAGMENTATION is not recommended. Back up should be part of the routine.

5 out of 5 eggsD600 write speed

Pros: Good capacity, reasonable price. The claimed write speed on the Newegg site is 35MB/Sec, but I had requested the write speed spec from PNY as it was missing in their product specification and they advised me 'up to 60MB/Sec). I tested the card this morning in my D600 and it would appear that you are a bit pessimistic: I am getting around 61MB/Sec in-camera. Very nice indeed!

Cons: None so far

2 out of 5 eggsPossible bad

Pros: The price is reasonable at $ 0.59 per GB, and the transfer rate is good

Cons: I had a bunch of picture on the card and was in the process to transfer them to the computer when suddenly it stated that the card had to be formatted and shortly afterwards the card was empty.
Luckily i had already transferred the pictures i needed.
This is the first time something like this happens to me.

Other Thoughts: The flash card might be ok, as it could have been the computer which caused the data to disappear, but given it a two to warn possible customers to pay attention to it.

5 out of 5 eggsPNY 128GB SDXC Elite Performance

Pros: This flash card is FAST!!! I tested it on a Windows 7 laptop (Leneovo Y570) and was impressed with the transfer speeds!
** Windows (average) speeds:
Read (copy from) = 75 MB/s
Write (copy to) = 45 MB/s
** CrystalDiskMark 3.0.3 speeds:
Read = 80 MB/s
Write = 62 MB/s
Although the advertized speeds say "up to 90 MB/s (Read)", the real world results will vary based on your computer's configuration. Still, very impressive write speeds (which is most important) for a card in this price range. I bought it here on NewEgg for sixty bucks. Thank you NewEgg!

** Very important ** To reach maximum speeds you must be using a latest SD card slot that supports SDXC. Also, if you're using a flash card reader/adapter, make sure it's USB 3.0 and that it's inserted into a USB 3.0 port. Anything older will results in slow transfer speeds.

Cons: Only one year of warranty unlike most of the competitors who provide 3, 5 or "lifetime" warranties. Other than that None.

Other Thoughts: I had a problem with my 128GB PNY USB 3.0 drive that needed replacement. PNY made me pay to ship it to them. Would've been nice if shipping was covered both ways, especially given that they have a short (1 yr) warranty period.

5 out of 5 eggsgood on Yoga 13

Pros: Works fine with my Lenovo Yoga 13 to extend disc space. I have the older i5 processor model. I stream video and music from it no problem.

Cons: A bit slow compared to other media when you are stuffing it full. It's up to 99G now.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for my Application

Pros: Decent write speeds (~30-40MB/s). Great space (128GB). Decent Price. Thanks Newegg for the fast shipping. PNY has been around long enough that I trusted buying a SDXC card from them.

Cons: Write speeds could be a little better, but i doubt my sdxc card reader runs off of usb 3.0. so I can't really complain.

Other Thoughts: I needed more space for my ultrabook with a 128GB SSD, it just happened to have an SDXC card reader built in...Score! I wanted more then 64GB, but didn't want to spend too much $$ this fit the bill, 128GB for $85, I remember when 40Gig Hard drives were more then that....

5 out of 5 eggsGood memory

Pros: High speed quality memory at a competitive cost. Unlike some other memory I have used in this capacity range, no problems with repeated mounting and unmounting as a flash drive.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I had been using memory from 2 other vendors and ran into a situation where after a few insertions into a card reader the SD card would malfunction and I could not recover from the error.

No such problems with this memory. I have been moving it from 2 different cameras as well as 2 different card readers and have had no problems. I highly recommend it.
