1 out of 5 eggsWait! I lied!

Pros: Works on the computer.

Cons: Does not work CONSISTENTLY on the D5100! I am now getting the same warnings about the card possibly being damaged on my Nikon D5100, same as the other reviewer, so I now take back my first review!

1 out of 5 eggsdoes not work with D5100

Pros: Good size for the money, solid build

Cons: Manufacturing defect cuts I/O and makes it appear damaged to certain camcorders. D5100 from Nikon and 5D Mark II from Canon intermittently display "card damaged". I tried 2 of these, as I had thought I got a lemon the first time around.

Other Thoughts: Even though your camcorder says card is damaged, after you remove and re-insert it several times it will start reading it again, and your pictures are safe. When you connect this to a macbook pro it will read it fine every time. Can't vouch for any other card reader you may have.

5 out of 5 eggsworks in my D5100

Pros: Works in my Nikon D5100 for photos and videos. Didn't see much lag time in writes or reads. Very good price, especially with free shipping offered.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGood value for the money

Pros: Price / Capacity, good ROI in general. Here's the testing result from H2testw:

Only 30530 of 30531 MByte tested.
Test finished without errors.
Writing speed: 20.8 MByte/s
Reading speed: 40.7 MByte/s

H2testw v1.4

Comparison: Adorama is now selling Sony 32G card for $17, which is cheaper, however, the writing speed is only 10M/s.

Cons: None so far, at this price level, the packaging isn't shabby.

Other Thoughts: Don't compare this card with Sandisk Extreme (45M/s), simply this is the SD card getting the most bang out of your buck. If you shop for the ultimate performance, you are heading the wrong direction.

4 out of 5 eggsWorks for me

Pros: Works. High capacity.

Cons: None for my application.

Other Thoughts: Just got it to replace a lower capacity card in a basic HD camcorder. I don't have a card reader fast enough to truly benchmark this card, as reads will likely saturate USB2, so I can't really comment on actual speed. I haven't had any issues, but my camcorders highest bitrate isn't especially demanding. Your mileage may vary.

3 out of 5 eggs43 MB/s Read, 28 MB/s write

Pros: Price is good, looks like a sturdy plastic enclosure, much better than the other cards I have.

Cons: Nothing like the advertised speed. I tested with BlackMagic's utility and what I got was 43 MB/s read, and 28MB/s write. That's fairly average and well under 50 and 35. I wish companies would be honest... it's not like we can't tell once we buy them...

Other Thoughts: I tested the card the first time I plugged it in, so it's FAT32, blank. Used a 2011 MacBook Pro. If I can read at 43MB/s, I should definitely be able to write at 35MB/s as advertised.

4 out of 5 eggsSo-so performance

Pros: Class 10 performance, decent price.

Cons: Exact same write and read performance as my less expensive plain old Class 10 cards. Wouldn't work with my laptop's built-in SD card reader, throws a Data Cyclic Redundancy error every time I try to interact with it, and it blue screened my system just trying to close the window.

Other Thoughts: Was expecting higher performance than my standard Class 10 SD/MicroSD cards, but it was exactly the same when transferring single large files. Didn't test with a large quantity of small files, perhaps it might do better there. The read and write speeds were just ok at 15MB/s/19MB/s for large files. Neither of those was anywhere near the 35MB/50MB max that the card boasts. Tested on a WinXP SP3 system with 2 different USB 2.0 card readers. USB 3.0 wouldn't make a difference, that isn't the bottleneck.

5 out of 5 eggsGood buy

Pros: It works. I mean that I've had a bad luck with cards that do not work, and there is no way to revive them
So, this cards works
This card is fast, faster than other class 6 cards I have.
And I've paid $.76 per 1 Gbt which is good

Cons: Non

Other Thoughts: I think it was a good deal
