It flips open Cons: Died on me a year and month into use. It just died, no warning, lost a week's worth of data. USB 2 compatible and quick coping from drive to PC. Can use as readyboost. Cons: When using USB 2 the transfer rate from PC to Flash drive is slower. Other Thoughts: Great product. I am in IT and I work on many different types and branks for PCs, Tablets, and Servers all day long. Cons: it is not durable. it started giving problems in phases. first i would receive intermittent disconnect from the computer. then it started to happen more frequently always seemed to be ejecting it self. lastly it just died and does not not read at all. i was keeping it on my car key chain which is always kept in my pocket or on a desk or hanging at home. Cons: None I've encountered. Other Thoughts: Use this as a backup drive for my data at work, but it's big enough so that I've also slapped all the mp3 music I listen to on it, and use it for any other misc. file transfers to and from work. Had to hold it a certain way to get data. Now it failed ton one document and cant read it at all. Other Thoughts: Worked great for a few weeks. We were using Corsair, had 2 of them, and they both died w/o warning, losing all our data! So far LEXAR is proving to be a much more reliable drive! We've (also) switched ~2 years ago to LEXAR 16GB Compact Flash drives for the camera, and are well pleased, highly recommending LEXAR! Cons: Cons, as in, I'm a Lexar convert? Ok, I admit, I'm a Lexar convert! Other Thoughts: the last JumpDrive we bought (a year ago) has a LOOSE USB terminal, which is disappointing, but doesn't affect its operation. So with 3 of them that ride around continuously in pockets, they have worked / are working well for us!
