To save every precious, valuable and romantic moment, you may purchase a high resolution digital camera, digital camcorder, or some other high-end device. However, normal Secure Digital Cards (SD Cards) on the market today may not let you capture these moments because of slow read/write speed. Slow read/write speed may cause lag time between shots and result in missing the opportunity to record some of your finest memories.

This A-DATA Turbo SDHC Memory Card (Class 6), rated a Class 6 performance card which means the card has a guaranteed write speed of at least 6MB/s, will reduce time between shots. For those high-end digital device users, A-DATA Turbo SDHC Memory Card (Class 6) will ensure you capture every “picture-perfect” moment!

  • newegg 4GB Capacity A huge 4GB capacity allows more photos, video or data files to be stored in your card – about 1050 image files (8MP, JPEG format, about 3.9MB per file), capture more photos or video with your digital camera or camcorder!
  • newegg SDHC Class 6 The SD High-Capacity (SDHC) card provides more removable storage power than ever before and the Class 6 transfer data of at least 6MB per second.

2 out of 5 eggsCard Fell Apart

Pros: Card worked as advertised

Cons: After 2 1/2yrs of use and about 5500 pictures taken the card's case split in 1/2 at the connectors. The lock button fell out and now the card is perminately write-locked

3 out of 5 eggsSlower than some other Class 6 Cards

Pros: Reasonable price, it works, and is 'relatively' fast.

Cons: Considerably slower in my DSLR than some other "class 6" cards in the same price range (ie, O*Z). Buffer filled up in continuous shooting, while it would not do so for the others.

1 out of 5 eggsCARD case fell apart

Pros: card worked great little over a year when the case wasn't falling apart.

Cons: after a little over over a year the case fell apart ( full separation )had to put tape around the case to keep it together, the plastic case is very cheap.

Other Thoughts: Contacted A DATA company ( sent photo of card )ask for replacement card as it states LIFETIME WARRANTY just got email back from A DATA company said they would not replace that the damage was to sever and was man made, That made me mad as I take care of all my electronics and accessories, This company just lost a good customer I will never buy A DATA products again.

5 out of 5 eggsPossible fix for Wii issues

Pros: Fat, Cheap, Great quality for the price.

Cons: Had issues with the Wii, but fixed. See below

Other Thoughts: I bought this to work in a my nephew's Wii. When I first opened the new SD card, I immediately copied all the contents of my old SD to the new A-data one using my computer, then tried it in the Wii, and the Wii told me the device wasn't compatible.

What I found was that one must first put the SD card into the Wii, access it once, and maybe copy something from the Wii to the card (I'm not sure if that last part is necessary, but that's what I did). After using it in the Wii first, I then put it into my computer and copied everything from my old SD card to the new, and choosing to replace everything on the new SD card with the files from the old one. Now it works.

I'm thinking that the Wii does something to the card the first time it's placed into the Wii, something that wasn't being copied over from the old SD using my computer.

I hope this helps anyone wanting to use this in the Wii.

2 out of 5 eggsLasted for one year

Pros: Bought this in 2007 and it worked really well in my digital camera. Speed was great and kept my information safe...

Cons: or so I thought until I bent it in two while pushing it into my card reader... luckily the memory cells were housed in two compartments inside the card ... taped it together and I got the rest of the information off.. now I use it to boost my memory in my laptop.. it's pretty much permanently installed since it'd snap if I took it out. So it's flimsy plastic is a no go... seriously.

Other Thoughts: Buy it if you're cheap and just want a throw away SDHC card.. if you want something to last you for years, get a Kingston micro SD adapter... they're solid and incredibly fast +reliable. I use it every day all day and I've never had a problem (I've used it for over a year).
