1 out of 5 eggsSudden, violent failure

Pros: Decent price.

Cons: I bought two of these cards at the same time, used them both under light load for about ten months... and then had them both fail catastrophically within a couple weeks of each other. I lost a lot of data, and I'm very displeased.

Other Thoughts: Ostensibly, A-Data warranties these things for life; guess I'll get to see whether that's more than mere talk.

1 out of 5 eggsWorked fine for 2 days

Pros: Great price.

Cons: Card seemed fine when I formatted in camera, but then computer would not read files. When formatted on computer, card worked OK for 2 days, then corrupted, and lost about an hour of photo work. The lost work alone negated all the savings.

Other Thoughts: Newegg refunded me promptly. Thank you. I replaced this card with a Kingston. That cost a bit more, but has worked much better so far.

1 out of 5 eggsGreat at first...then it died.

Pros: Fast (in Canon 20D/30D/5D and Nikon D300), decent price

Cons: Corrupted 5 months after purchase

Other Thoughts: Crapped out 5 months after buying it. I seem to remember it being much cheaper than the Sandisk options when I picked it up, but now I won't use anything else BUT Sandisk, and prices are almost the same. You get what you pay for...generic flash cards will always come back to bite you.

3 out of 5 eggsDHL Stinks

Pros: Unknown... Newegg shipped my order via DHL 5 days agao and the tracking number does not work/recognize at either the NEWEGG site or the DHL site.

Cons: DHL stinks. Their customer support number dumps to voicemail. VOICEMAIL not a live person during business hours for a worldwide company.

Other Thoughts: What kind of sorry delivery company dumps customer service calls to voicemail ... can't even put me in the queue?

Surprised that for the 1st time ever I have something negative to say about new egg (other than the restocking fee on a bad card I returned last month)

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent 266x

Pros: I used it with my XTi, I had 133X 2GB, ok with the speed but this 266X is the ideal for photo journalist. The memory speed is critical in digital photography that significantly important for the Video. I took 250 images of my friend wedding, loss less. I buy this for extra when I go to volleyball tournament.

Cons: Not yet :-) and hope not.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Readyboost performer at a great price

Pros: Great access times. Stays very cool unlike the Sandisk 2Gig CF I was using before. Dedicated entire card to readyboost in a system with 2 gigs. Boot time is about 10 seconds faster then before and apps I use a lot load much faster.

Cons: The larger size becomes a factor when the system hangs for up to 3 seconds while the readyboost cache is updated. This happens less often, the longer Superfetch has been analyzing your usage patterns and after 3 weeks it has seemed to go away entirely.

Other Thoughts: Readyboost does not do much with 2 gigs or more of RAM, but it still does help a tiny bit. I popped this card in my buddies laptop, that only has 512 Megs RAM, and the difference was night and day.

2 out of 5 eggsslower than sandisk 15MB/s

Pros: cheaper than other comparable 4GB

Cons: slow

Other Thoughts: I did a comparison of this card and Sandisk CF II ultra rated at 15 MB/s in new sony a350 dslr and the adata turbo performed way slower. At least two times slower. Maybe for other cameras it's less an issue but for a350 with 14 megapixels huge raw files this is unsatisfactory.
