5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Cheap price, enough space than I needed, works perfect

Cons: capacity reduces to only 2 GB in FAT format, that is not the defect of this card though.

3 out of 5 eggsWhat's in a name?

Pros: High capacity. Price. Does what it says it does.

Cons: Speedy? You've got to be kidding. Bought this to use as SSD for my box but it's just too slow. This thing has absolutely horrendous access times. If you want capacity it's great. If you want speed look elsewhere.

Other Thoughts: It'd be nice if they didn't call this speedy. It's misleading.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet.

Pros: Bought this for a Digital Rebel XT. Very vast, in fact it made the 9 picture rapid shot work to almost 20 pictures because the camera can write to the card so fast.

Also, on this 8mp camera, i can store over 1000 shots (not sure on the exact number, the camera display stops at 999.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: This is the second A-Data CF card i've bought, the other was an 8GB for my PDA. Both are fast and work well.

5 out of 5 eggsBought it for a Digital Camera

Pros: Works fine in my Canon Rebel XT. Specs put is slightly faster than the 2 one Gig card I had previously used. I can really tell any difference. Work very well in this application.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Can't beat the price for 4GB of storage.

5 out of 5 eggsGood price

Pros: I've owned one of these for over a year... and in my experience as long as you transfer over to your computer and then deleted all the fils from the camera.. you won't have any data curruption... It's my understanding that this is the best way to delete your photos/videos anyways... Very dependable card

Cons: For videos it's only good for one hour... this would have been ok when memory was more expensive, but as memory gets cheaper this is not the best way to go for video... but for pictures (even on a 8 megapixel camera) it's probably just fine...

Other Thoughts: For the price you just can't go wrong with this memory... 4 of them are about the same price as this models 16 gig brother... so if you decided to get 4 of these or the 16 gig pricewise things would come out about even.. Very dependable as I mention earlier..

5 out of 5 eggsCheap and ReadyBoost capable

Pros: CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP. And Vista ReadyBoost capable - actually that is the only reason I got this card - just keep it in my system as a ReadyBoost flash drive.

Cons: none here

Other Thoughts: First time in it did not recognizer as ReadyBoost capable - I had to hit rescan in the Readboost tab and then it said it was capable.. Works for me - get price for 4GB CF card. BTW, not need to go larger if you want to sue it for ReadyBoost - 4GB is max.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat if you don't need alot of speed

Pros: Lots of storage for the price. Can hold around 1200 pictures on my canon rebel xt and since I don't usually burst shoot more photos than the camera buffer can hold the speed of this card doesn't bother me. (see cons)

Cons: Abyssmal read speeds. Per HD Tune minimum 10.5 mb/sec, maximum 11.5 mb/sec, average 11.2 mb/sec, access time 1.2 ms, burst rate 11.0 mb/sec. Can't speak to the write speed since I'm using the free version of HD Tune. A-DATA doesn't really list any speed specs on their website of this card though, so not surprising it's kinda slow.

Other Thoughts: What can you expect for a card with this much storage for around fifteen bucks in terms of speed? If the speed doesn't matter to you, grab it. A-DATA makes excellent product in terms of reliability. I have NEVER had a failure of one of their products. If you are looking for speed though and don't mind spending more, take a look at their 350x turbo models. (If it's for a camera, make sure yours can handle the capacity of whatever you decide on.) Mine only supports up to an 8 GB card.
