The read speed is wonderful, the write speed is underwhelming. Still, an improvement over my existing equipment. Kinda upset at Patriot for not listing the read and write speeds...what the eff is "Ultra High 200X Read Speed" supposed to mean? A normal USB key reads at 0.15MB/S? Lame. It now just plugs in and says it can work faster in a USB 2.0 port. However, plugged in another brand flash drive in the SAME port and it works just fine as USB 2.0 for readyboost. I take this defective drive to another computer and get the same message about USB 2.0. Put the other brand flash drive in that port on another computer and works fine again. Patriot is refusing to honor their so-called lifetime warranties on the two Patriot items I have bought. NEVER AGAIN will I buy another defective product from this defective company! Search the internet and you will see many run into this problem where the drive eventually stops working at 2.0 thus can't use it for readyboost. FALSE ADVERTISING ON LIFETIME WARRANTY Other Thoughts: AVOID THIS PRODUCT SINCE THEY WILL NOT HONOR WARRANTY. AND AVOID THE COMPANY TOO.
