Gets it done.
- Pros: 52 in 1? How can you argue with that?! It seems to be priced just right. It doesn't look cheap, and inserting/removing the cards is a breeze.
- Cons: The USB port on mine was out of alignment when I opened the box. I thought, "Oh rats," and used a pen to straighten it out. I plugged the unit in, tested the card reader, then found that the USB port was finicky and wouldn't work. It's not a big deal for me, because I have other front panel USB ports. I would have been ticked to ship it back, though, because I have a problem spending more on shipping that a product costs!
- Other Thoughts: You may have to be careful inserting smaller cards into larger slots. This unit is better built than some of the other card readers. If buying this unit, be prepared to ship it back. Quality control is poor at Rosewill.
Works as expected
- Pros: Vista detected everything. Pretty much 0 setup involved.
- Cons: None
- Other Thoughts: This worked as expected. I bought 2. One for an XP machine and one for a Vista machine. It works perfectly in both.

Works for a few weeks
- Pros: Works great for a few weeks.
- Cons: I had a total of 3 of these and all failed. Only the USB works.
- Other Thoughts: Next time I'll buy a different one.
Don't bother
- Pros: 52-in-1 card reader.
Nice blue lights to match the other blue lights on my Antec 900 case and fans.
- Cons: My original one died on me about 2 months after I got it. It couldn't read any cards, only the USB port worked. I got an RMA from newegg, got my new one and it died about a week later. I am going to be paying more for the return shipping then this thing cost.
This is making me regret getting an internal card reader instead of an external. I have to keep opening up my case and rewiring everything.
- Other Thoughts: The way that you can tell the card reader goes bad is usually each slot on the card reader shows up as a different drive letter. One day my Vista x64 Home Premium told me it couldn't load/find the drivers for a device, and next thing I know I don't have any drive letters for each slot. The USB slot still works, but that is it.
Dont buy
- Pros: Worked for two weeks
- Cons: Quit working after two weeks
- Other Thoughts: I would have sent back for anything but after paying 10 dollars for it plus shipping it would only be a waste of time and money.
Also i took the cover off it just to look and one of the screws holding on the readers board was cross threaded and not all the way down. ODD
