Rosewill RCR-AK-IM5002 USB2.0 75 in 1 internal Card Reader w/ 3 ports USB2.0 Hub / eSATA port / Extra silver face plate / SATA Power

Pros: it worked fine. all cards slots worked as they claim

Cons: Card slot for the compact flash is awkward for you insert it upside down where I had no problem until the pins assembly started getting loose and it totally came off the board. Poorly built to be used almost daily where you unload at least 4 cards at a time. Now I am stuck transferring raw images from camera usb where it super slow.

Other Thoughts: I would buy rosewill product again if they would make their product builds as durable as possible. In addition, i am worried getting pins come loos and get stuck on any of my compact flash cards that costs me 5x

Pros: Everything you could possibly want and need to replace the obsolete floppy.

Cons: I bought two of these when on sale back in Novemeber of last year and stuck them on my shelf for future use. I installed one in a system I was building a week ago and confirmed by trying on a test motherboard that it is DOA. I can now see I've become the member of a rather large club of dissatisfied purchasers.

Other Thoughts: As many others have said, Rosewill sells a lot of decent cheap components and I've bought many of them. But when you let "cheap" dictate your purchase, we all get what we pay for..and very much deserve it.

Cons: used almost exclusively to transfer SDHC cards for my camera. Worked for 15 months until is suddenly went kaput. None of the connections work now, tried another motherboard to host but still nothing.

Other Thoughts: Third Rosewill product to fail after 1 year of use, be warned! You get what you pay for...

Pros: This thing has slots for all major cards, three USB 2.0 ports, an eSATA port, and even a DC 5.0v, should you need one. It's also one of the only card readers I could find that had three USB 2.0 ports, microSD support, and a reasonable price.

Cons: One of the USB ports came out after normal (and quite delicate) use. Thing stopped working a couple of weeks ago, completely out of the blue. My computer's acting like I don't even have it installed, and the blue LED is no longer coming on. Finally went to contact Rosewill today, and realized I ordered it exactly one year and one day ago. I'm not going to even bother fighting them over this. Rosewill made my case, and it's amazing, but this card reader, and seemingly every other card reader by Rosewill has ~3 eggs, and tons of people complaining of the same shoddy manufacturing. After reading reviews here, and all over NewEgg on their other card readers, I'm thinking Rosewill might just not make a good card reader.

Other Thoughts: Like I said, Rosewill makes a good case -- has some Tom's Hardware picks, even. I trusted the brand for that reason, but I regret it. There are not many good internal card readers out there, but do yourself a favor and avoid Rosewill.

Pros: USB 3.0 + multiple card readers. Works great.

Cons: SD cards don't fit very snug and I have to be cautious inserting cards as it is possible to misalign an SD card in the reader.

Other Thoughts: I have not used the eSATA feature but it is a great accessory to add to a case.

Pros: Everything you might want for external access in one 3.5" device.

Cons: Slow (only USB 2.0). Died after 2-years and of course out of warranty.

Other Thoughts: It was fun while it lasted. Time to get a USB 3.0 card reader.

Pros: Inexpensive, good overall quality, three extra USB ports is nice.

Cons: The plastic on the SATA cable is thin and easily broken.

Other Thoughts: Even though the plastic on the SATA cable is easily broken it is still working. I have used numerous Rosewill products and for the most part I am a satisfied customer and this product is not one of the exceptions. It is inexpensive and works exactly the way it should.
