4 out of 5 eggsSolid Drive

Pros: 1. I like the durability of these drives.
2. The rubber coating helps to keep them waterproof.
3. I've yet to be "let down" by Corsair products.
4. The cost of a durable 8 GB drive for $10 was also a deciding factor.

Cons: 1. They are "bulky" in that the rubber coating enlarges the drive making using 1+ in close fitting USB connectors a "problem."
2. It's possible for the usb connector on the device to become loose.
3. You can lose the cap. After prolonged use (several years) the rubber may get worn down and slip off easily.
4. There is no real place to attach the cap so it can get lost pretty easily.

Other Thoughts: I've owned 2 8GB and 1 4GB for over 2 years now. Each has served me faithfully and I've yet to have any problems with them. This just adds to those as they have not failed me yet (knocks on wood).

I don't attach these guys to lanyards so I really don't use the clip part at the bottom. I can see how that can get torn/broken after some use.

5 out of 5 eggssurvives washing machine

Pros: My memory stick has gone through the washer and dryer 3 TIMES AND IT STILL WORKS. I have carried it daily for over well over a year and it is the most durable reliable flash drive I have ever used.

Cons: Can be expensive, but Newegg has great sales and rebate offers. Worth the extra money for the reliability.

Other Thoughts: People tend to wait too long to backup data on flash drives and lose important files to accidents (like leaving it in the clothes being washed).

5 out of 5 eggsJUST WORKS - thanks corsair

Pros: No U3 crapware baked in. Plugged it in and it was a BLANK drive. 7.5gigs available. Thank you Corsair for giving me what I expected with no hassle.

I haven't tried running this through the washer or other "oopsie" torture tests, but I think the rubber casing is a good idea.

Cons: Ugly? I don't care - works fine.
Cap could be tighter? Whatever.

5 out of 5 eggsFlash Voyager 8GB

Pros: This series of flash drives have to be the best u can buy!! These drives are super fast, and I have yet to loose one piece of data of one of these flash voyagers!! The drive is in-cased in a rubber housing therefore absorbing shock when dropped, and they seem to have some sort of water resistance! I dropped mine in a puddle of water last winter and....... yup u guessed it, I still have it and it works great with no lost data from the fall!! Also great quality for a great price!

Cons: NONE!

Other Thoughts: I do wish they still came with a lanyard. It keep you from misplacing the drive! LOL

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Was fast while it worked. Very durable key-chain case.
Rebate came quickly.

Cons: Got fried when plugged into old laptop. A pain to use
Sandisk drive worked fine afterwards in that very old laptop.

Other Thoughts: Learned my lesson. From now on will only use 'ejectable' flash drives on 'old' machines. I don't anticipate a problem RMAing with Corsair.

4 out of 5 eggsBest Flash I've Ever Used

Pros: Nice, Rugged, Impact Resistant Rubber Design Is Durable Enough For Me to put it on my Keychain!
10 Year Warranty!

Cons: After 1 week of use and playing with the cap on my finger, the cap became lose and fell off and i lost it. Four months later, the flash drive circuit board module slid out of the rubber housing. (-2 Eggs)

Other Thoughts: They have Excellent service when it comes to their warranty!
I RMAed The Flash Drive through Corsair to find out that they want you to pay the sipping, so i put it in a bubble mailer and slapped a 61cent cent on it. They Got it two days later, and emailed me with a tracking number for a replacement. It arrived in 3 days via ups, and was a Brand New, not refurbished, still sealed replacement! (+1 Egg For Great Customer Service)

3 out of 5 eggstrendnet7

Pros: over all average flash drive. durable

Cons: slow, heats up drive unrecognizable by Unix, XP, and 7 for after years use. Reasons unknown. Will not RMA it because not sure whats on it for data. Price points kind of high.

Other Thoughts: this is my fourth Flash Voyager. Died after a year. replacing with Kingston for now.

5 out of 5 eggsvery handy

Pros: good data rates, great capacity

Cons: bulky housing

Other Thoughts: the rubber covering makes it hard for other flash drives to share consecutive usb ports but i suppose you could argue that with 8gbs i shouldn't need other drives :)
