Pros: Rugged sleek design that lends itself to keyring mounting.

Cons: Came with a virus out of the box. Corsair has issued a technical bulletin about their factory in Taiwan being infected with a virus. Just what you want on a new expensive drive. Corsair not recalling the drives they just wait until you find out about the virus on your own. Hope you have autorun disabled before you plug this thing in.

Other Thoughts: Aside from the virus thing I am impressed as can be with the new drive (I've only had it for an hour now so we will see).

Great Speeds, Durable Case

Pros: The design of the stick allows it to plug into the back of a computer easily and without issues. A lot of USB sticks that are rugged are also really thick and have issues with other USB devices fitting in the plugs around them.

This stick is also lighting fast at copying files 40 - 60mbps in some cases.

Cons: While the aluminum case is very rugged the rubber decorations fall off VERY easily and the thing looks a bit strange without them.

Rugged, Fast, Pricey

Pros: The drive is fast and rugged. I haven't had to use the usb extension cable yet. I use this drive to back up the data on two computers and it works like a charm.

Cons: I put it on a lanyard and carry it around my neck and it is chunky enough that it appears that I have a growth of some kind. It is also a little heavier than any of the other usb drives that I have owned. It is pricey, and if you don't need the speed or the ruggedness, you can save some cash. I like speed and ruggedness and don't like to take chances with my data.

Other Thoughts: Looking for, and waiting for a Survivor GT in a 16 or a 32 gig model. I am sure that my aeronautical engineering student son will take hand-me-downs...
