Is USB 3 compatible with slower USB2 systems?

It is downwards convertible of course you loose some of the high speed transfer rate but should be a problem if usb2 is what you are used to...

Very stable flash drive. I abusive to it contingently and hasn't failed me yet.

How do you expose the part that plugs into the USB receptacle?

The rectangular end is the USB connection.  There's no cover.  Nothing to slide open.

The metal housing is nice looking and a solid build.

This appears to be to small to connect my pc or laptop usb ports. Before I open these, what do they fit? (bought 2). Do I have to buy some sort of adapter now?

I use it "as is" to copy and move data from various desktop USB ports. No adapter needed to fit in every USB port that I've tried.
I like them because once it is on my key chain, it is one flash drive that I am not going to lose ... or have a plastic tab break off.

Is this compatible with a 2.0 flash connection?

Yes, it works very well in 2.0 or 3.0 USB ports. I have used it in differents PCs and always it worked. When I use it in 3.0 port, I can copy files very fast than 2.0 USB ports. It is the main difference between 2.0 and 3.0 USB.

Very high. Our department has bought several from this line. 2.0 and 3.0 of several sizes. Probably 30+ of them over the last 5 or 6 years and we have not had a single one fail to my knowledge.

Has anyone had issues using this on USB 3.0? I bought 4 of these and I have tried them on more than 10 different computers. None of the computers even detect the drive. So device drivers don't load. I'm going to RMA all of them right now!

Yes.  I use these on USB 3.0 all the time in various PC and Mac machines.  They work fine when formatted for both PC and Mac.  It even works with BitLocker enabled which is great for a flash drive you keep with your keys...just in case you lose it.

Running out of room on my 250GB X360, I transferred all the games, apps, etc. to a 320GB model. I have some Sandisk 32GB USB sticks that I was using to hold extra games on my older X360, which I copied to the 320GB X360.

I like the look of these USB sticks. Even though these are USB 3.0, does anyone think these would work on the X360? I only ask because I know that the X360 is pretty picky about what USB sticks it will and will not accept. I know USB 3.0 is backwards compatible with 2.0, but was worried that the X360 would only accept USB 2.0.
