4 out of 5 eggsSpec verification

Pros: I use windows 7 professional 64 bit. AMD-8150 8 core processor. I've owned it for about a week now and have transferred 3 - 8 gigs about 10 times now. On average it read at about ~32/mbs and wrote at ~19.5/mbs

Hopefully that helps...

Cons: See above for spec verification

4 out of 5 eggsGets the job done.

Pros: It's a flash drive. Got it for free with my processor. Gets the job done.

Cons: Looks a little gaudy. Would have rather had just a solid black or silver. Doesn't seem to maintain true USB 3.0 speeds.

4 out of 5 eggsQuirky compatability

Pros: Works sometimes, depending on the system O.S. & USB 3.0 port driver driver.

Cons: This particular 16 Gb USB 3.0 flash drive gives this notice when connected to a USB 3.0 port using the latest Windows 8 64-bit driver: "The last USB device you connected to this computer malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognize it." However, the same USB 3.0 port (dual-boot system) running under Windows XP can "see" the same drive fine.
Note: another Mushkin 32 Gb USB 3.0 flash drive works fine under Windows 8. So: the problem lies with some kind of incompatibility between the Team F108 flash drive's controller and the Windows 8 64-bit USB 3.0 device driver.

Other Thoughts: USB 3.0 port running off a Gigabyte Z77-UD5H motherboard.

Pros: nice size.

Cons: Slow. Much slower than my other USB3 drives and I have a few (from 64Gb to 8Gb).

Other Thoughts: cheap

5 out of 5 eggsFast and reliable

Pros: This is an excellent drive for the price. Got it on sale, which makes it even better. Nice storage size and pretty quick, too. This shouldn't be surprising, though, since it's 3.0. I don't remember specific read/write rates since it's been a few months since I replaced it, but I was quite pleased with the overall transfer rates, even on USB 2.0. Overall an excellent drive, although don't do what I did and think it'll play nice with heavy metal objects in your pockets.

Cons: Warranty doesn't cover "Gang-banged to death by multitool and car keys."

Other Thoughts: I used the drive heavily every day for about a month and a half before it stopped working, entirely due to the fact that I carried it with me everywhere in a pocket which also held my multitool and car keys. Needless to say, built Ford tough this drive is not. Of course, for $15 you shouldn't expect it to be. I stupidly neglected to take this into account, and now the drive no longer works. I've since swapped to Corsair's Survivor line for their extra durability, but before my F108 totally tanked on me it worked perfectly.

5 out of 5 eggsspeedy

Pros: seems pretty quick! Haven't timed it but I am sure this is quite a bit faster than my other thumb drives for moving stuff around. Too bad I only have one usb3 capable pc.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible write speed

Pros: Size and the way it looks.

Cons: Out from the box the write speed was just 6MB/s. This is even worse than USB 2.0. I've tried it on few ports and it was the same. On the same ports my other flash drive (32GB corsair USB 3.0) is doing 50MB/s.

1 out of 5 eggsSpeed dropped after couple months

Pros: Good speed at first

Cons: Write speed dropped to 3mB/s after about 3-4 months. I got this flash drive for the read/write speeds, so now it's virtually useless to me at this speed. Do not buy

2 out of 5 eggsDisappointing

Pros: Cheap at seventeen bucks for a 16gb flash drive, at the time I write this.

Cons: Write speed is slow at around 10-12 MB/s. The cap is so loose it slides off with very little force, and does not "click" into place. The plastic case around the circuit board is also loose, and can slide back and forth a little.

Other Thoughts: Get something else. I bought 2 of these. I wish I would have spent more on a different brand. There's no point in even being USB 3.0 with such lackluster read/write speeds. I have multiple USB 2.0 drives which are faster, despite being several years old.
