Nippon Labs Delux 3.5" Internal All In One Card Reader/Writer with USB2.0 & eSATA Ports Model ICR-BB

Pros: It was not DOA...

Cons: I was hoping this card reader would actually work... It did for about 6 months... then stopped reading everything other than the USB.

Other Thoughts: I wish there was a internal card reader that actually worked.. I've dried 3 different brands (yes inside different computers).... apparently the internal-all-in-1 technology is beyond our reach.

Pros: It has all the reader types I need. Decent price.

Cons: None so far.

Other Thoughts: My case did not have a 3.5" bay, so I had to improvise with a 5.25" bay. I just used one screw and its just flushed to one side. No cover over it, but my case closes up front no big deal. Even with an SD card in there the case will close just fine, so that was a plus in the end.

Pros: Nice finish for any build ......

Cons: None ....

Other Thoughts: The eSATA is a nice addition

Pros: NewEgg's service was very good.
When the reader worked it worked wll.

Cons: Reader worked fine for 2-3 weeks, then sdcard slot failed. NewEgg supplied a replacement, which worked fine... then after another 2-3 weeks, sdcard slot failed.

Other Thoughts: I was only using the sdcard slot, the others may be equally bad.

Pros: GREAT PRODUCT

Cons: NONE

Cons: Worked for about a month, i realized it wasnt working when i had to take out the sd card ,i had in it, in order to boot my pc up for some reason. When i did want to use my sd card, i would put it in the slot, and it would do nothing and when i took it out, the light would still stay on and wouldnt shut off.

Other Thoughts: Good thing i don't really need this device, no idea why it doesn't work to well, maybe its my os, win7 64, or maybe its the sata connector, although the sata connector seems perfectly fine.

Pros: Easy install, very straight forward. Nice to have two connection options. I opted to go with the USB vs the SATA just so I don't have the permanently attached USB just dangaling inside my case. Read and write speed are great. Fit and finish look good for those worried about asthetics.

Other Thoughts: Got it for extra USB and SD reader. No problems to date on 2 builds.

Cons: I had purchased the item before and its been over a year and still working fine. Just recently purchase a second one and it was DOA. I requested Newegg for replacement and 10 days later it arrived. Once again it was DOA.
